Good evening to all magicians. My intention with this topic is to obtain assistance and help those who are starting out. Telling a little about my story, I have been studying magic for a few years, I have read some books about Umbanda (a type of magic/religion that emerged among Afro-Brazilians). And I have been a member of A.M.O.R.C for about a year, and anyone who is part of this order knows how slow it is... I feel like I have no talent for magic, and I have no one close to me to ask for the path of the stones, I study and study and I do not evolve at all. Do you have any suggestions on where to start? What books to read? YouTube channels? Any tips you can give. I thank you in advance.

I know that, for me, I had no talent either—but I also learned that it’s not me doing the magick; it’s the spirits. When I started waiting on the spirit to perform the magick, I began to feel their presence. They also choose how strongly they come through and how much they want to communicate. I believe that people don’t have power without the help of an external spirit, so it’s not your fault if you’re not evolving. The only way to evolve, in my experience, is to wait on the spirits you summon to carry out your magick. I may be wrong, but I’ve never experienced magick without their help.
