This is one seriously under-rated series, and sadly it's pretty much unavailable anywhere outside of Canada except for Season 1 which can be found on Amazon Prime.
The main character - the collector - is called Morgan Pym, and he was a 14th century Monk who sold his soul to The Devil and ended up working for him as a Collector of Souls. Every episode deals with a different person's deal & Morgan's attempts to help him find salvation & save his soul from going to Hell, as the mythology of the series is that each 'client' gets 10 years as The Devil moves luck around from others to the client and after the 10 years is up a collector will appear to send him to Hell early (the last 48 hours everything falls apart) and The Devil is played by a different actor in each episode.
