There are many ways to classify magick. The most common is the simple binary distinction between black and white. But there is also yellow magick, and red magick, and right hand and left hand, and magick with and without a ‘k’.
One of the most basic distinctions is between those types of magick that draw upon and deploy erotic energies and those that do not. Sex, eros, libido, is a fundamental energy of the universe. It is very often repressed or else ‘sublimated’ into other forms, but in its direct state, as all lovers know, it is potent and transformative. It can be used as a source of dynamic magickal power.
