This is what I understand the purpose of High Magick has so far.
The Tree of Life & The Geocentric Model are the maps for the process to complete the great work, it is the ascension process.
Gradually converting your chemical body into a light body as your capacity for containing divinity increases;
via the 4 levels of Alchemy (Physical, Biological, Psychological, Transcendental).
First, you work with the heart of the Rosicrucian cross, The Microcosm. (This is the mini cross + 3 petals in the center) Malkuth, The 10th Sphere.
The tiny cross represents the Earth Element, and the first 3 petal's around it represent [Aleph - Air - The Fool], [Mem - Water - The Hanged Man],
[Shin - Fire - Judgement]. This is the first step on the path of Ceremonial Magick, Elemental Magick.
I need help with this part; how do you go about invoking and working with the elements? Is it solely doing the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram?
Next, you work with the 7 Planets & their Energies, Celestial Bodies. This is the Macrocosm.
Our psyche, our Deep Mind/collective unconscious, has a constellation within that is a mirror image reflecting the 7 planetary cosmic powers.
The dots on the constellation being focal points which reflect the great planetary archetypes in Atziluth. They function within the "Nephesh"
as incredibly vast sources of magical power. (The Nephesh is the emotional-instinctual level of the psyche and emanates from the "Ruach"
(the intellect). It is comprised of the astral stuff of Yetzirah.
-- This is an explanation I derived from the planetary magick book by Denning & Phillips --
[Foundation - Yesod - Moon] 9th sphere
[Splendor - Hod - Mercury] 8th sphere
[Victory - Netzach - Venus] 7th sphere
[Beauty - Tipareth - Sun] 6th sphere
[Severity - Geburah - Mars] 5th sphere
[Mercy - Chesed - Jupiter] 4th sphere
[Understanding - Binah - Saturn] 3rd sphere
In the Planetary Magick book they say for the first time starting off these rituals should be performed in ascending order.
Once you've worked enough with these, with Planetary Magick, you then move onto the 2nd Sphere.
[Wisdom - Chokmah - The Zodiac] 2nd sphere
This involves the 12 constellations of the Zodiac
The 36 Deacons (Each Angel = 10° of the zodiacal belt)
The 72 Angels of Shem HaMephorash (Each Angel = 5° of the zodiacal belt)
After this,
[Crown - Kether - Source] 1st Sphere
There are still layers above this, what was it, 3 levels of Nothingness?
And there's some details I'm missing in between, and I don't have all the specifics yet, but it's a start and what I see as my
template for the Path of Magick so far.
There's many other practices that should be done in tandem with this, like the sacred secretion. I think SS, asceticism, is an integral part to all of this.
Just live a good life, eat good food, get shredded, seek out fated lovers, and keep feeding the divine flame within you.
