Ive done this before with items jumping out at me laid incorrectly over other products which I snatched up.
Recommendations:
Herbs and spices, such as a pack of bay leaves founds helping a friend move and given to me, along with lucky wooden nickels. Currently in my mojo cup along with other things.
Cup and saucer, reasons for this should be apparent.
A knife and possibly a wand or stick of some kind suitable for a wand or staff, even a wooden broom handle. Preferable a double edged knife, even if its size is a paring knife (its not the size of the knife, as long as its double bladed and easy to shank an astral parasite.
Earplugs for develooping clairaudience.
A BBQ torch, also suitable as a wand, even though its appeal is lost as such when the lighter fluid is gone.
Candles.
Scented oils such as sandalwood and apple-cinnamon.
Scented sachets such as jasmine, which along with an invoking air pentagram should launch you firmly into a grade of theoricus.

Sounds solid! I honestly am one of those people who turns to the dollar store for everything, and I've even found good shit at thrift shops too. But I have gotten really good at growing or foraging my own herbs for certain things, so my need for those is less than it used to be. I've even given others some of my spare homegrown mugwort and shit before. Good stuff.
