Is cooperation with the authorities even a virtue? I mean, I've had to kick an aerse or two. Had mine kicked twice or thrice. Never have I actually met or acted the gloating top-daddy who enjoined his underling to cry out, "Thank you, sir! May I have another?" But then, maybe some of youse spent your youth in more demanding reformatories, yonks, and yombs than my sheltered self. Doubtless you'd see it differently, coping with that background. Let who hath ears, let them glow red with chagrin at imposing his own corkscrewed phronesis.
