[Help] Thoth and Triliokinath

I was wondering if anyone sees a connection between Thoth and Trilokinath (Shiva)? For some reason my mind hints to me that these are the same diety. I did a bit of research and ancient egypt was trading with ancient india, so it may be possible the cultures intertwined in a way.
