Yes. I was in a small city a couple years ago. We were visiting a lake. It had rained that day, and stopped, but the clouds still covered the sky. I was hiking by myself on a hill, overlooking the lake. A few things in the sky, up by the clouds caught my attention. They looked like silver or chrome balls in the sky. I glanced at them, and dismissed them as party balloons, and so I kept hiking.
A few minutes later, I gazed back at the silver party ballons. They had not moved. They were stationary. It was windy that day, and the clouds were moving, but those silver balls did not move. That's when I stopped hiking and watched them.
There were about 12 or 13 or 14 of them. Judging by the fact that they were very high next to the clouds, and they were very visible, I estimated that they were much bigger than party ballons. Maybe weather balloon in size. They we just totally motionless in a group together, over the lake. I was thinking how odd it was. How can weather balloons stay in place on a windy day like that? I noticed after looking close at them that they were all spinning on their north-south axis. One side was slightly darker than the other. That put me into that WTF state of mind.
All of a sudden, I witnessed something bizarre. The 13-14 silver balls, changed colors. The turned from silver to white, then to red, then to a glowing light yellow, like plasma balls or ball lightning. Once they turned a glowing light yellow, like lightbulbs, they moved!
They moved down, all together as a group. As they moved, some were slowly chasing each other. As they moved they blinked, meaning they dimmed their light and made it bright and dimmed it etc. They slowly moved down, and as they moved down, they became dimmer and dimmer, and one by one, they vanished, or became invisible to the eye.
I was in such a WTF state of mind that I totally forgot to take out my phone to video them.
To this day, I have no idea what they were. I would suspect that they were ball lightning or some kind of plasma phenomena, but watching them move, and chase each other around like fish or bugs, made me understand that they exhibited some kind of sentience or intelligence.
Another thing I personally experience daily which I can't explain is divination. I've been reading cards for a few years, and I can't explain how it works. How does entropy and randomness - shuffling the cards and drawing random cards - see the future or the most likely future? How does it work? I think its absolutely crazy, because I carry those cards with me, I touch them and use them daily. And I have no idea how it all works.
Like I know the superficial concept behind divination by cartomancy or sortilege. It's a form of synchronicity. The animists of many cultures explain divination like sortilege as the same thing as asking the gods or spirits for signs, except that instead of looking in the world for your signs, the signs manifest in the cards or bones, etc.
That much I understand, but it's superficial, because it doesn't explain what synchronicity is, what is causing such signs and synchronicity to manifest for you!
Another thing I experience daily, which I still can't explain is "spirit possession." I was for the longest time dismissive and skeptical about spirit possessions. I believed that people faked being possessed by spirits.
But, now, I experience a two-headed possession. I'm actually consciously aware that a spirit moves my body, limbs, and hands, fingers, and head. The spirit has its own personality, is interactive, has a sense of humor, like to play, like to draw, can write poems, can warn you of incoming danger, can do magic for you, etc. What is it? What is a "spirit?" I've always thought spirits were things like ghosts and apparitions. I experience it, but I can't explain it and I don't understand it. Not understanding how such things work doesn't bother me. I don't understand how my car, or computer, or brain work, and I still use them just fine.
