Use of Black Pullet Talismans without Corresponding Rings

I was looking through Etsy and came across this storefront that sells magic paraphernalia. They sell talismans from the Black Pullet with and without their corresponding ring, claiming that "there are alternate methods of utilizing it within certain magical communities." Is this true, and if so how?

Some of the talismans from the BP are intended to be worn on the heart. So a t-shirt could be a good idea. Of course it would be best to wear the shirt during ritual or inconspicuously under a sweater when out (no need to flash).
I made the talisman for all knowledge on a square of linen long ago, and although I'm not extremely convinced of the authenticity of the Black Pullet, I don't think that talisman has made me dumber .
There are words of power / incantations that go with the talismans (I think they are corrupted Hebrew) and they, like mantras are what empower them.
In my opinion the rings and talismans can be used separately. In fact.. on the inside of one of my older magickal rings I engraved the symbols of one without making the talisman.
Give it a try. But please don't link to sites that sell things.
