I'm currently working on a hexing ceremony, and the thought came to mind while I was reading the works of Nicholas Culpeper. While humoral theory (and herbalism used in this context) was conceived to be used for healing, is there any cases historically where it was used aggressively (i.e., to unbalance a target's humors to achieve certain illnesses)? Does anyone here has any experience with it or has thought about the subject?
