Vedic Svara

Hi,

Does anyone have experience in learning proper Vedic svara - anudatta, udatta and svarita + applying it to the traditional Vedic mantras, later mantras and other spiritual practices? Especially, I wonder, what impact it had on practice and how difficult it was to learn. I would be grateful for guidance and/or a recommendation for learning resources.
