Welcome to the forum.

The word sigil gets used in a bunch of different magic tech. For example when I see the word sigil my first thought is always those we create in Chaos Magic but the word means different things to different paths.

You’ll get more useful answers if you can be more specific in what type of magic tradition you’re pulling the word from.

I'd start with the seminal "Liber Null & Psychonaut" by Peter J. Carroll (you only have to read "Liber Null" to get a good grounding in chaos magick). Then there's "Practical Sigil Magic" by Frater U.D. which is probably the most accessible book on sigils. Lots of books on sigil magick in the Library, and virtually every book on chaos magic covers sigils as well. Once you've understood the method, I recommend idly experimenting and doodling sigils with paper and pencil without a specific purpose in mind, just to get a feeling for the artistic aspect of it.

Btw, this isn't a topic for the Lounge, that's more for relaxed off-topic discussions.
