What magickal topics are most important/useful to have memorized if you plan to be without reference material?

I am educating myself for my seinor year before I leave to travel the Caribbean. I am a rasta mystic and wizard so my plan is to live an ascetic lifestyle wandering around learning. I plan to have none of my things so I will be without any books to refrence. I dont want to memorize associations because I belive that they will be more pertinent to me if I interpret them personally. Instead I am intrested in any key topics, ideas, authors, etc. that may be helpful in this journey. I really appreciate anything and I apologize if its vauge. I just want to make sure that I have all the mental tools necessary to compitently interpret the mysticism.

Basics need no external tools and little memory:
- discipline (some simple daily practice, prayers and physical exercise do a lot)
- meditation (daily)
- focus
- creativity (always being able to enchant and/or use whatever is around you, also doing some form of art helps)
- imagination
- open mind and if available, developed sensitivity for whatever spirits/beings you encounter

I would still, however, keep a journal. it's useful to be able to write things down.

Gnosis on the fact that you are the ward. You are the power. Consent is everything in the spiritual realm. Consent is not always conscious, key detail here. Banishing is directly removing consent, full stop. (Josephine McCarthy was my insipration on banishing/warding. Cool chic, look her up she has videos on YT you can digest easily as she uses plain language, real deal practitioner without memorizing a billion irrelevent charts, stars, colors, smells, itches, scratches, planets in retrograde under a half moon in July on a Tuesday stuff lol).

This will aid you greatly as you move around in unfamiliar areas with whatever spirits inhabiting those areas. Staying sovereign is key. Banish as needed. Most importantly, have a blast!
