What were your experiences with successful invocation?

Or more specifically, have you ever invoked a deity long-term, as in, for more than a day? What happened, good and/or bad? Alternatively, have you ever had such a close bond to a deity that you were able to invoke them at will and/or whenever that deity wanted to possess you?

I think the only one you would want to invoke long term is your own higher self / birth angel / HGA / your godhood / etc. The whole concept of possession, even the meaning of the word, makes me think of seeing yourself as a submissive to whatever entity you "worship".
What I (believe) I have learned from working towards this contact is to not get so caught up in my ego, and I think it's been a positive development so far.

Would you allow it though for an entity you truly loved from top to bottom? For someone you knew had your back until the very breakdown of time itself?

As far as I know, one's HGA/higher self doesn't do possessions. XD They definitely speak to you internally and guide your life if you let them, but as far as just possession is concerned I've never heard of them doing any such thing. Could be wrong though.

Depends on the entity. Theres no problem with devotionals to diety. However devoting yourself to a spirit in this way is highly problematic. They should be treated as amicable business partners at best. Anymore is subjugating yourself and forfeiting your authority. This is why demonolaters can never seem to break free of the entities they've exalted as more powerful than themselves.

As for subsequent conjurations, there are many dieties and spirits i work with over prolonged periods of time. Some of them have become regular features of my practice. There is no issue with it. The only thing I personally feel safe with letting possessing me or my medium is diety. Doesn't matter what terms im on with a spirit they are not allowed to get in the meat suit and if they do i immediately cut the invocation/evocation off.
