Warned: Wrong section. Moved to Media.
Occult in cinema is very wide, sometimes they come with a very Christian point of view, but there are good movies about spirits, pacts with the devil, sorceries and witchcraft. I personally like Dracula the adaptation from Bram Stoker.

Dracula is name of dozens of movies. Which one is the one you refer to? Or if that's the name, what year it was published?
My reply:
Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970)

I can't really select a movie because most of the movies related to the occult are made from the Christian standpoint. I do like tv series Charmed. That's something that marked my childhood.

You're damn right about that. Christians do not understand occult, if they even understand their own spirituality. And they do a lot of movies.

Beetlejuice :) Has a good screenplay and good characters. Watching it again after a long break from seeing it. But it's a fantastic movie :)

That would be 1992 Bram Stoker's Dracula.

I actually like Tim Burtons movies, they are pretty dark.

I also like Satans Slaves of Indonesia, as people commented also about the christian standpoint Satans Slaves comes with witchcraft and a cult to ruin peoples life from a muslim perspective. About the comic you got that seems nice, I actually bought the Bram Stoker book in spanish.

It is cool. Probably got redrawn in new reprint to be printed digitally, but is nicely loyal to the movie.
I have Dracula tale in my native language and now hunting for original (extended for texts that ere removed when publishing) edition of the book. It has been published lately.

'The Ninth Gate' is probably the best movie I've seen about the occult.
I also absolutely love 'Night of the Demon'. It got recut for the US and renamed 'Curse of the Demon'.

Thanks for sharing, I investigated about Night of the Demon and found 2 interesting things "Casting the Runes" by M. R. James and "Mystery and Imagination" the Brittish TV show wich aired their own adaptation of Casting the Runes.

The film is much more interesting than the original short story :) I haven't seen the "Mystery and Imagination" version.

They also did an excellent version of Charles Dickens' other ghost story "The Signalman"
