Whether that's something you went through alone, or went through in a group setting, which of your initiations (if you've had one) was most meaningful to you? Did it change your life, how you practice magic, or what you believe? I would say my most meaningful one was two years ago and was a self initiation into my religious tradition. I feel very much like it changed it my perspective on my life and beliefs, though not always in ways I totally understood at the time.

I know everyone talks about how initiation changes you, and such like, but I don't really think I ever did. Certainly I never joined any groups.

I am assuming you mean with me as the candidate ? *

Most significant would be the spiritual illuminating awakening I had , 'spontaneously' around 7 - 8 . It certainly changed my life, magick and what I believe , more than once , as the influence continued percolating throughout my life .

One of my most meaningful ones was my 3rd degree - after that everything sort of fell together ; previously life experiences and changes seemed like a hodge podge of whatevers , but after that I realized they were all pieces of a puzzle, like a jigsaw puzzle ... all of a sudden I saw how they actually all fitted together, had significant meaning and made a much bigger unified picture .

Self initiation best was the Ma'at chakra dedication ritual .... thats a LOT to live up to but provides a strong 'rudder' in life and requires serious 'Thelemic dedication'

They are the ones I am supposing you are asking about ... the ones I have done as a 'candidate ' .

* There are some very meaningful initiations I have done as the initiator or officer - but that is probably not what you are asking here .
