I bought the Ultimate Guide to the Rider Waite Tarot, Hoodoo Herbal, on my own. The RW book is terrific unless your symbolism goes out the window with a new deck. Hoodoo Herbal is a great overview and has good Hoodoo info.
I was gifted for thirty bucks:
The Golden Dawn 7th Ed, outstanding.
Druid Power, good but heavy on Fae.
Wild Magic, fair but heavy on Fae too.
Magic of the Celtic Otherworld. Terrific.
Christmas presents included Israel Regardies and the Philosophers Stone, Candle Burning Magic, and The Mystical Qabalah. Candle burning magic is heavily highlighted and falling apart. The other two barely read.

I had a kickass LHP and RHP library going, burned the LHP books in a religion frenzy and someone kidnapped my RHP books saving them from the fire.
But, that library was bought when I made great money and had a temporary abode for them.
Now to do it all over again requires a job and home first and foremost, not this repetitive decade long crap of mine.

I have a small collection of books that could be tied to the occult. Some are of an initiatic bent (Ornament of Stainless Light, The Golden Dawn) and others are novels with grounding in the occult. Some of my oldest occult books are those by Dion Fortune and William G. Gray. These include:

The Mystical Qabalah
Moon Magic
The Demon Lover
The Secrets of Doctor Taverner
The Sea Priestess
The Goat Foot God
The Winged Bull
Book of the Dead
The Cosmic Doctrine
The Esoteric Philosophy of Love and Marriage
The Curcuit of Force (with Gareth Knight)

An Outlook On Our Western Inner Way
Western Inner Workings
The Sangreal Sacrament
Qabalistic Concepts
Sangreal Ceremonies and Rituals
Temple Magic
Magical Ritual Methods
The Sangreal Tarot
The Tree of Evil
The Ladder of Lights
The Talking Tree

Gray is a really lucid author. I’ve also got books by Julius Evola and Crowley such as:

Introduction to Magic (all three volumes)
Eros and the Mysteries of Love
The Mystery of the Grail
The Hermetic Tradition
The Yoga of Power
The Doctrine of Awakenining

Book 4
Magic Without Tears
Gems From the Equinox
Moonchild
The Law is For All
The Book of Lies

I have four volumes of the Zohar, Gates of Light (by a Joseph Gikatilla), The Bahir, Shepher Yetzirah, Meditation and Kabbalah all by Kaplan, Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Transcendental Magic: Doctrine and Ritual (by Eliphas Levi), The Hermetic and Alchemical Writings of Paracelsus (trans. Waite), ale Morte D’Arthur (by Malory), Edda and Poetic Edda, The Secret Tradition in Arthurian Legend and A Practical Guide to Qabalistic Symbolism, both by Gareth Knight. I’ve Paths of Wisdom (by Greer), The Book of Abramelin (trans. Steven Guth), Astral Projection, Ritual Magic, and Alchemy (edited by Francis King), The Six Yogas of Naropa (by Glenn Mullin), and several other books for my hard copy collection.
ooh I own pretty much everything Gray published, besides a few things that are rare., small gareth knight and dion fortune/alan richardson/wendy berg section

Dude those are some Choice Crowley selections.

I'm a bit jealous you have a HC of Magick without Tears...lol

How is your Liber ABA (Skinner Ed)? Is the Binding Okay?

Also...

I don't think I've ever noticed this thread before.

I'd like to share mine as well but it might take me a while because I have probably 70-80 books.

I'll make a list off-line as I have free time and then post it later.

I picked up the Magick Without Tears (1973 Llewellyn first printing) at Abe Books - you can get some great deals there, and to date I have never had a poor experience. The Keep Silence Equinox reprints look great on the shelf too.

Liber ABA is not the greatest HC in my collection, that's for certain and it's not a patch on what I have seen pictured here - no slip cover, no dust jacket, no ribbon marker and some seriously cheap, nasty recycled paper - but the cheap price should have been a warning to me.

I've got thousands of PDF though, and am seriously looking at learning book binding ion order to just make my own one-off copies from printed sheets off the PDF, done by the local laser print outlet (much cheapness but really crap plastic ring-binding of loose-leaf pages) rather than buying shoddy editions from the dreaded Amazon.

Look forward to your list - my physical collection is around 50 books, and I need to get many more whilst I still can.

Damn - got another supposed Dee book I forgot to add as it wasn't on the shelves, but in a pile to be read.

The Rosie Crucian Secrets - their excellent methods of making medicines of metals, also their lawes and mysteries

Oh snap dude!!! You got your hands on a copy of the New Black Brick!!! Noice!!

That's one of my next 'Holy Grails'.

I was going to get a copy over the Holidays but that sale on Liber ABA happened and I had to put the Black Brick on hold.

I definitely want to get a copy before the Spring/Summer if I can.

Definitely grab the Big Blue Book when you can, that book was fantastic, but way over my head at the time, save select passages from the book.
The Black Brick and its newest version are both very good. I did come across Foundations of Magic and Ceremonial Magic online, and have a physical copy of Regardies original The Middle Pillar which is very interesting with the psychology text in itself. Love Crowleys Liber ABA.

Great Collection!!

Echols books are Awesome.

I really need to get a copy of Ritual an Essential Grimoire because it has a lot of Energy work exercises and I’m always looking to get better in that area and Damien is the best teacher of that within Ritual.

Circles of Power and Chicken Qabalah are awesome too and Greer and DuQuette are also two of my favorite authors.

I agree Ritual an Essential Grimoire is a great book and has been very helpful. I can't tell if it or the Psychic Witch book has help me more on that front.

Another version of Monas Heiroglyphica to add - the 2021 Drs. Teresa Burns & Nancy Turner translation this time.
I'll be writing a detailed review of this at some point, but more on that in the right place as there are things to consider.....and I will be asking for help on what way to jump
