Recruiting for Engineers

Wassup WF?

I got the nod from @SkullTraill, and I'm looking for skilled front-end engineers for a new online marketplace for occult services and merchandise.

Etsy is solid, but many of the more skilled practioners has pivoted to their own storefronts, due to harsh rules there.

Anyway, I'm an 11-year software engineer -- generally leaning more back-end. Fingers in a lot of pies.


Particularly, I'm looking for a front-end engineer to collaborate with on the MVP:

• React / React Native
• TypeScript or ES6+ JavaScript
• Strong CSS / SCSS Skills

I could hire out for this, but due to the nature of the occult, a profane engineer would think we're summoning Satan

The plan is for this new marketplace to be sponsored by WF and replace the marketplace they have here.

Looks like this may be a long shot.

I'll continue work on the MVP and likely selectively hire out for the front-end.

For sure man, what backend do you use?

Rails for me, soon to be moving to Go.

But yeah, I do have some other startups in the pipeline - I'll use the profits from those to build this (and hopefully not scare the shit out of who I hire lol)

Nah man, minify JS/CSS on deploy -- use CDN for images and it'll load quickly.

anyway, still need a designer/front-end engineer...
