Evoking Elementals

Could you explain, as someone who has successfully evoked the Elemental Rulers, what your experience was, and the method or process in which you used to successfully evoke them? Do you agree with the standard RHP method or process of the order of the elemental ruler, or would you personally rearrange them in order of evocation?

The first stage is to establish right relationships with the elementals that provide the energy/substance to your chakras.

Then establish right relationships with the nature spirits that operate most of your chakras

Then, with the support of those nature spirits you can reasonably safely meet Elemental Rulers

But why would you? Dealing with Elemental Rulers is best left to specialized entities including nature spirits (lesser devas) and greater devas.


I was once on top of a sacred hill with a woman who was doing a simple invocation when I saw/felt in the valley below a landscape elemental start to move. It was about 1 mile wide with most of its body in the earth. I was pleased it stayed down in the valley

When you use the terms devas, nature spirits, etc, what system are you referring to?
I am working from the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn system, or equivalent procedures, processes, exercises and rituals.
There is power within, for any egregore out there listening to me mid ritual, then more power to us in one accord.
But what I am referring to is, Gnomes, Sylphs, Undines and Salamanders.
Do people who have evoked them find that order to be preferable? Does its order make sense, and if so why or how? It doesn't to me.
Could it be ascendant-element based as a starting point? Or just that way because of the system workied with/tree model?
Or, perhaps the better question is once you evoked them, what were your impressions or experience with them?

Roma, I appreciate your reply and story by the way. I would love to hear more about the earth elemental you saw, it sounds like a giant, maybe body underneath Easter Island stone heads? I believe giants, dragons, and faerie folks existed and still do, just in a separate world, state of mind, or dimension.
I do know there is the warning to the Neophyte-Zelator on evoking or invoking the elementals, that you must have the will and knowledge to remain in control or you will find it a bad experience. You need to be the boss or a neutral third party.

So relationships with elementals, Id have to successfully invoke or evoke and converse with them. I guess trees are a good starting point for me, and I need to quit stalling and learn geomancy, and go collect unblemished stones for a devotion altar and for geomancy castings.
Then learning my herbs. Quit stalling and grow and make my own oils and incense and potions and balms. Essentially, do the work.

I want to explore the Celtic realm, and the fae, but Im working a single system at a time, and that would be the fifth. However, as a Zelator, you make contact with the gnomes; within this systems order. Then there is initiation into hermetics for use with hermetic, emerald tablet and kybalion, then modern magick, then magical trilogy, then magick in theory and practice along with 72 angels of magick, then my Celtic books.
This is the plan anyway. So, this system I am currently using has me meet the gnomes.

I've been reading Greer's book on Geomancy. It's quite interesting. Really you probably don't need to buy anything at all. The Arabs traditionally, and to this day in some places, poked a stick in the desert sand a random number of times, then counted the holes: odd number of holes for 1 dot, even number for 2 dots. Repeat the process four times for each mother figure. The Golden Dawn tradition replicated the 'desert' using a shallow indoor box of sand, consecrated to the purpose, of course.

Really any random way to get odd & even results to a well phrased question will suffice. A common deck of playing cards will work rather quickly to cast all four mother figures. Hearts and diamonds are odd (1 dot), while clubs and spades are even (2 dots). Or some simple dice. Think of it this way: what if you're out and about and need to do a quick divination right there and on the spot. Dice fit in your pocket, and all you really need is some paper and a pencil to work out the results.

As you will have noticed there is the matter of permissions. So light from the heart will generally move/change a parasite but on-going permissions invite many replacements

Egregore is not a species/kingdom but a function. That function can occur through a variety of kingdoms - depending upon the nature/quality/function/intent/species of the group

Nature spirits can be diverted temporarily from their function - hence beginners' luck. But they quickly return to their proper work.

Not all nature spirits are happy to be diverted. Better to develop natural relationships where the nature spirit approaches because it wishes to observe/cooperate

If you cannot control the element in which the nature spirit works, you may find yourself in difficulty - even when the nature spirit is playing a game with you.

try and commune with them respectfully like you would any spirit, maybe offer them something for a service. Take your choice of divination and go ask them stuff
