I'm looking for books on the gardnerian coven. I went to a magic shop the other day and found nothing instead i found a book on necromancy but that wasn't what I was looking for. Any ideas where I can find a circle to join or coven where I'm at? Where should I begin? I have the Raymond Buckland Book of Witchcraft.

The magic shop only had one book, and it was about necromancy? Dope.
Make a thread in Book Requests with the label "seeking recommendations" and a title like: looking for books on Gardnerian Wicca.

Nobody knows where you live, and I suggest you keep it like that. There was a website long ago with "all" official Wicca covens world wide, I'm sure you can find something online. Think it was from the Pagan Federation?

Great book to start in my opinion.

Just a question: what do you expect from membership in the coven?

You could always read works by Gerald Gardner, Doreen Valiente, Patricia Crowther, Lois Bourne, Raymond Buckland and Thorn Mooney- considering they and Mooney were/are members of Gardnerian covens.
