In most of my ritual work I have on lustmord or cryo chamber in the background. To create a separate space and block out anything else in the household.
Lustmord last album Much Unseen is Also Here is really good.
For meditation if I can't get silence I like ambient rain or wind sound .

I have been meaning to try Coil's Moons Milk in my WorkI also thought about making a post dedicated to Ambient/Dark Ambient this week!
I hope you don't mind if I spam in here a little from time to time, as it's one of my favorite things.

Not sure if some Coil Albums would count, they're more like 77% Ambient...
I also forgot to mention that their Queens of the Circulating Library gave me one of the easiest meditation sessions of asana in recent memory

Coil's work often connects me deeper than other ambient, I guess it has a psychedelic quality to it.
Many artists in these genres work with true spiritual/occult intent or self image and one can feel that.
But inducing surreal states with a little more playful sounds and surrealist poetry manages to dissociate really well!
This song from the album Astral Disaster is one of my favorites and encapsulates well what they do,
they just know these states very well & were true ocultists.

The next CD i want to get (yes I am one of those weird collectors, well I am a musician) is COILs Time Machines album
