I actually have been considering it! My health issues include Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which, among other things, affects my joints. I'm also hypermobile, so while I used to love yoga, I have to be very careful with it if I do it now because it's so easy for me to overextend and accidentally injure myself.
Thank you for the recommendation! I actually downloaded an app awhile ago just to try it out (I know it isn't the same as with a person to correct form), so on a day when I have more energy I'll definitely try it out!
Uh-huh !
I got 'frozen shoulder' .... 3 months in . Apparently it can last up to 2 years. Well known to be fairly painful . Just then I was trying some circular softer tai chi movements .
- Burn through the pain ( apparently one has to keep moving ) .
....
Tai Chi. Yes, the slow art that old chinese do in the park. Ever seen it speeded-up to full speed? It's serious martial art.
I trained for years (old style Okinawan karate and kobudo ) at the riverside park in town
