Islam prohibits summoning it.

Some fringe groups claim many weeks of fasting though reports are that the act of summining it is unsafe to the summoner, others, and society in general.

Hi! to answer you're question I think you can look into PGM and other literature as it is very close to the "Shadow" and binding/summoning it is heavily focused on literal shadow work(working with your own shadow cast on a wall/floor kind of thing), I think you can also bless/baptize the Qareen if you don't want to purely bind it, you can have a positive relation to it, something to experiment and try!

I have heard a tiny bit about this topic.

The rituals for it are supposedly very long, a very long process. Prior training with a massive dedication and then some special process. The qareen would try to intimidate you in every possible way, taking nasty shapes and trying to do whatever to stop you from completing the process. Something about "capturing/conquering it" and a lot of benefits, but what exactly?

I can remember some story about the prophet Muhammad having turned his qareen into a muslim.
