I use the RWS every day. Hard to beat one that has all of the symbolism baked right into it. But my favorite overall oracle deck is by the people who do the acid horizons podcast. it's based on the philosophy of geroges battaille, and its called acephalous. I'd link it but I'll get my whole post torn down for linking to a shop.

Totally agree with you, RWS is really hard to beat! Heaven and Earth Tarot is almost exactly like RWS! haha but with more correspondences included, like the meaning of the hebrew letters (for example a camel behind the priestess)... it's not better, just almost the same tarot with more correspondences...

I have a horror tarot deck and thats pretty fun. Its has I think a goblin thing as the page of wands and a frankenstienish monster as the king of pentacles.

Cthulu is also there doing cthulu things.

Paul Foster Case did a deck, have to colour it yourself, really need the BOTA literature to make all the connections. But probably due to the time i have put into it, its very special for me. Also as a map of human consciousness and evolution its great.

For mundane reading i like the druidcraft tarot

A tarot you have to color yourself! that's actually pretty clever idea.

Yeah, in the BOTA courses there is coloring, lot of intuiting meaning from single cards, or a few cards in various orders. Basically stuff to build further subconscious connections (which is what tarot is about right, bringing information through the subconscious via pictorial imagery - the language of subconscious)

I mostly use RWS and am pretty picky about art/symbolism, but I just picked up 2 recently that really resonated.
