I am a beginner in astral projection, I still havent succeeded but I got really close, even had dreams related to it. When should I expect to succeed and what should I try out? I'm grateful for any kind of answer that I can try out with my limited possibilities, thank you

1. Have enough sleep (but you can experiment with sleep deprivation too)
2. have some practice with meditation and relaxation
3. study experiences of people who are practicing successfully, to find out what goes on when you try to astral
4. after first success do not expect immediately another one, because you will focus on expectations, not technique, common error, mine for sure

I use relaxation technique, simply lay down and relax so much that your soul can slip out. Didn't do it for quite some time, succeeded like twice or trice...

Thank you, it does sound tough, I heared once you do it more than once you get used to it and can do it faster.

That's true, if you keep practicing, you will get used to it and it gets easier, but first success can be a problem as after it you might forget how you did it and it stops working. I definitely had problems with that.

A fairly simple way - Sleep for a few hours, set alarm to wake up. Affirm you can easily go out of body as youre sitting up then lay down again and feel yourself rolling out of body. Continue to do that until you fall asleep. Or you may succeed right there.

Alternatively, try Ophiel's Little Method

"Trying too hard" is the most common beginner mistake I tend to see. There's a certain amount of letting go required to fully relax yourself, so if you're laying there actively focusing on trying to project, it can end up blocking you from getting where you need to be. I've had to learn to let my mind go blank and just trust the process. Eventually my awareness will start to slip back and I'll notice something off, like no longer being able to feel my pulse or breathing, or that I'm seeing my room with my eyes closed. That's when I can try to exit.

Finding the time of day when you're best able to relax without accidentally falling asleep can also help a lot. I've had a small number of successes in the middle of the night, but first thing in the morning right after waking up has by far been the best time for me.
