Occult is fascinating topic and often confusing because it demands deferent mindset than our usual materialist one. You will see for yourself.

But your question was not stupid. After all vamps might not know anything and it is only victims who would trace the issue back to the vampire. Conscious ones are more extreme in both ways. they can be way more safe... and way more dangerous as well.
