I’m curious about an experience I had whether it was a dream or astral projection??? Any one?
So I was sleeping and I felt conscious almost as if it was my will to move around the experience. I imagined weed and I was in this grow room that had the most beautiful looking buds ever and so I told my self omg if I move my physical body I’m going to wake up and I’m going to stop seeing this. Then I imagined women and boom I was around beautiful women. This place looks brighter than the physical world from what I remember. I also told my self to fly and i started floating around a forest then boom i woke up because my arm was numb from staying in a certain position. What I noticed from this experience was that I had conscious control of what I was doing at all times. What you guys think? Was this astral or dream?

Yeah, it was a lucid dream. The biggest giveaways are the spawn requests and the level of full creative control you had. Those are lucid dream features.

If you want to test if it’s a lucid dream next time, try an information test. Before you go to sleep, put a random word hidden somewhere you can’t see. Have someone else write the word and give it to you. If you have one of these dreams like this again, try to go to your room in the dream, read the word, then check it after you wake up.

I'd say both since all dreams are happening on the astral. The only difference is in what is called a "normal" dream you astral project entirely in self-created environments, while in "normal astral projection" you may project into words that exist independend from you and were created by something or someone else. It's astral projection regardless, you're just playing in your own room or in someone elses room.
Sometimes the border between dream and projection may be so thin and you may be constantly switching back and forth between dream and astral projection that it's hard to tell what's what. On top of that you can have a ton of control and power in other "real" astral places too, not only your own dreams which makes it even harder to tell. A lot of "normal dreams", not lucid, may be genuine astral adventures in worlds that really exist out there too apart and independend from you.

My knowledge is that dreams happen on mental level, which is between astral and physical. And you usually leave nowhere, you create a bubble of virtual reality around yourself, generated by your unconscious, and do not really leave the body. If you left the body and astral traveled, you would be using energy instead of recharging and wake up really exhausted. Astral travel can happen in dreams but it is quite rare.

It's curious to see someone placing the mental level between the physical and astral, possibly my first time seeing it. How did you come to this conclusion?

From Cabbit. The astral nad mental tends to be confused. When you read older texts that are serious occult, they use first mental, and later astral. Nowadays among people of esoteric that sell chap courses, they switch the two, which causes confusion. After some thinking, I decided that mental is probably closer to reality, even if by the fact that it is where we dream and that makes it rather in between than a real layer. Mind has mental attributes and dream is using our mentality, so calling that layer of reality mental makes sense to me.

From Cabbit.
And here I always tought that the mental level is between the spiritual and the astral. Because the mind is a creation from contact between the Consciousness (Spirit) and Soul (Astral) and forms a bridge and connection between them, so I tought the mental planes rightfully belong between the spiritual and astral planes. (In order to add clarity and simplicity, the physical belongs in my view to the astral but may be considered to be the lowest part of the astral as far as we are concerned)

But when I look up Cabbit on the internet in order to learn more all I can find at first glance is a horrible unholy creature which seems to be a mix between a rabbit and a cat. It almost reminds me of those half-humans half-vampires mixes, or like Mikal Nyght said, coydogs, half coyote half dog. Which is not exactly appealing to me.

Apologies. Cabbit is not a web or a spirit. It is a person by that nick on Discord that explained the mental and astral to me. She was/is (?) well read in esoteric and occult.

By the way, your way of putting it has some logic to it too. At least you know well why you call it the way you do. A lot of people would not get that far. That's good, actually.
