The rosary is incredibly powerful, if you do it regularly you will get real magical results.

Have it blessed by a priest if you want to go further, faster.

The Hail Mary contains the trademark Christian begging for forgiveness "pray for us sinners" line that sticks in my craw. Same with the Lord's Prayer. I can't stand it. Used to know the whole damn thing off by heart. Nowadays all the Christian Nationalist fcknuts have taken to wearing rosaries as some kind of political fashion statement.

Not really a fan of repetitive prayer in any context, but I suppose if you need a sleep aid?

And aren't we sinners? Let's not kid ourselves... We see faces but not hearts! We lack humility. On the other hand, I don't agree with "forgiving those who offend us," but when I've been the offender, how things change! I'm not going to deny that either.

Oh humans are absolutely terrible horrible apes, some of the most greedy and destructive and malicious creatures that ever evolved. Even the very best of us are still devouring the planet at an unsustainable rate and are still begetting monsters.

The Garden narrative as described in Genesis has some pretty interesting subtext about how the Fall is comparable to our alienation from nature resulting from our embrace of agriculture and civilisation.

I just don't like the way Christianity frames it as us being "sinners", and reminds us of it at at every turn, while at the same time not questioning the human exceptionalism that is at the heart of all Abrahamic religion. It's extremely manipulative and hypocritical as well.
