you're missing a step of giving them a hug.

When it comes to angels, never underestimate some. recommendation and help from gabriel to contact another angel is always a great help, most practitioners miss this out. The most used rituals involving angels always involve gabriel because thats his skill, communication. I dont use terms like choirs, archangels and such but rather classifications.

instead of starting with the seraphim start with the malakhs first. To give an example in the LBRP it uses 2 malakhs and 2 seraphim, yes you call them archangels but thats the type they are. The malakhs are the easiest for humans to contact, they are much closer to humans in conciousness than the other classes.
