Can't seem to break through once I get the vibrations. I just get immensely frustrated. I can meditate for max 40 mins before this happens as well. Then I just slip back into observing the blue things and images

Astral Projection is one of the most important skills to have. In my opinion, it's after projection is mastered that the real work begins.

Eman0n, when you reach the vibrational stage, what do you do to exit?

It's involuntary, I just get so frustrated I end up exiting.

Hello, I think I have had an experience of astral projection or remote viewing but it left me quite confused.

I am uneducated in this realm. Could you describe the vibrational stage and how you get to it? Are there, in general, steps to lead you to this experience? I one time had an experience of seeing remote locations, impossible landscape and other beings after meditation... but I don't know what happened to cause that.

Some key features of my experience:
  • I was feeling an intense emotional contradiction, or rather, I saw clearly a contradiction within myself that robs me of being and consistency. I saw that I was nothing within the universe but also not separate. At that moment I felt and then saw that I was sitting in a circle of other beings who seemed to be meditating. I could only see them out of the corner of my eye because I did not want to turn my head but they didn't seem human. Then the next experience happened:
  • It was characterized by visions passing in front of me at a rate of about 1 every two seconds, they were of landscapes I had never seen and some of them even seemed otherworldly.
  • I was still aware of the room I was in physically and I knew I could get up, turn off the light ect. In fact I did turn off the light in the middle of the experience and when I tried to return it was if everything was foggy and fading away.
  • At the end I was left with a very strange feeling in my body and I needed to go to sleep. I felt like I had done psychedelics, like the after effects of that but very mild. I haven't used psychedelics in years and even then, only a few times.

Sounds like you had a mystical experience. They have some minor similarities to astral projection in requiring altered states of consciousness, but going off my experience with both they seem to be a separate thing. They're more of an inward journey where the revelations come to you, while astral projection occurs in places outside of yourself. There might have been some remote viewing involved in it, but there's no way to know that unless you can verify that those visions were real places.

For how my usual astral projection experiences tend to go, nowadays I mostly use empty-minded meditation while holding the expectation in the back of my head that I'll reach the needed altered state. I'll end up losing awareness for a period of time, and when that awareness returns, I'll be able to move my spiritual body but not my physical. Vibrations are almost never part of it. It always starts with a conventional OBE where I exit my body into my bedroom, and from there I like to fall or sink through the floor to facilitate the astral travel. Most of the time I'll just spend a few minutes exploring a strange place that's generally out in the wilderness. I seem to end up in the ocean a lot, and forests have been common as well.

I've had a few more interesting experiences, though. The first big one happened very early on when I was trying to see if I could find someone out there to talk to, and put me on a hiking trail leading up to a small cafe on a mountain. I got excitedly waved over by an unfamiliar woman when I walked in, went to join her, and we spent a few minutes chatting. It seemed that both of us were new to astral projection and in the early stages of going out looking for spirits to pester for conversation. She shared a bit with me about a spiritual retreat she was planning to go on, including some fairly specific details about the location of the retreat that I was able to verify as matching up with a real-world place. It was overall a really pleasant interaction.

I've only had a few OBEs, and they've only been under copious amounts of drugs, or in a traumatic context. Only memorable ones are deciding to just straight up leave my body at the Buddhist temple at a funeral bc it was way too hot and I hated the monk, and getting slight derealization during an anxiety attack. I think the main reason why I can't project yet is bc I still have a lot of shit to work through, and I can't get my energy parameter up enough to maintain it past the vibrational phase. Hell I can't even walk a mile. But this isn't just physiological though, I think in general my energy leaks or I just can't get enough/generate enough on my own. If I take from other people, it gets used up really fast. My eyes have been red and bloodshot for like a month now and my metabolism is pretty high. Not sure exactly how to regulate past this atm

Had to edit this a few times bc I keep using 'and' where it's not needed, this is a new development. Always feel like I'm breathing shallowly lately, developed around the same time too a few months back, like air's being held in my upper diaphram only

I have only projected a few times in my life, but each time, really insane, utterly haunting shit has occurred. Based on my experience...

1. There are "Shades" that surround us at all times. Shadow-people who seemed moribund and helpless/hopeless? (Are these the Dead prayed for in Catholicism? Purgatory souls? I have no idea.)

2. They grab on to you in some vain hope to tag along with you. Felt a lot of sorrow coming from their "astral flesh" as they grabbed hold of me.

3. The particular realm/area I was in was completely dark, but my "inner eye" seemed to be able to navigate said darkness. Like a bat would, perhaps. I was doing a lot of Qliphoth-heavy ritual work at the time, but this felt more neutral. Like a type of waiting room or something. Abyssal, though.

4. I always feel emotions super-deeply in this state. Amplified and enchanced. Even fear is beautiful, though. It's very difficult to explain.

On a separate occasion, I woke up with what can only be described as "goo" on my hair/head, and I felt this horrible presence behind me, and heard a faint snicker. This was in a "neither-neither" state between being awake and asleep, and I was fully clothed. I was working diligently within the realm of Gamaliel at that point. Sexual-daemonic spirits? Perhaps. I went back to sleep almost immediately, so I didn't do any hardcore "confirmation" of what happened.

In other instances, I have also visited an astral "realm" that seemed to be akin to marble with sigils etched within three-dimensional space... but each "sigil" corresponded to some epoch in time/history. The one I was immersed in (almost like being in a marble ocean full of black/ink sigils, if you can imagine such a thing) was a "medieval" realm... and it breathed with the essence of Arthurian Christo-Pagan energies. Courtly love. Echoes of a time that may or may not have actually existed with Malkuth/The Kingdom, but within the minds (Hod/Samael) and passions (Yesod/Gamaliel) of departed humans/writers/poets/bards/etc.

Was this an instance of the so-called Akashic Records? Who knows?

Apologies if this all seems a little fever dream.

I've not actually had the experience, but from the descriptions (NDE people have had similar experiences) I believe that somehow, you get to see the entire multiverse all at once. Since our minds are not really built for this kind of experience, we try and impose some kind of structure on it to try and make sense of it. NDE people have described being able to insert themselves in any experience during their life, from any point of view.
