Using Several PGM Love/Attraction Rites on One Target During the Full Moon: Too Much?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask for opinions on something. I am considering doing a set of love/attraction workings during the full moon, focused on one person, N.

The workings would be:

1. Hecate rite from the PGM
A chthonic invocation of Hecate meant to create unrest, longing, and movement toward the operator. It is more forceful and intense in tone.

2. Philtrokatadesmos / erotic binding
A classical PGM-style erotic binding involving symbolic figures, names, and binding language. The purpose is to bind the target’s desire and attention toward the operator.

3. Aphrodite / Venus attraction offering
A Venusian attraction rite directed toward Aphrodite, more focused on desire, attraction, and erotic drawing rather than pure coercion.

4. Candle attraction working
A simpler sympathetic candle working meant to create a link and draw the person closer over time.

My question is: would using all of these together on the full moon for one person be too much?

Part of me feels that if I modify or soften them too much, they may lose their purpose. But at the same time, I do not want my ex to come back completely broken, desperate, or “crawling back.” I want the work to be effective, but I am unsure if stacking all of these rites at once would be excessive or unbalanced.

Has anyone here done something this intense or “massive” for a single target before? How did it manifest, and would you recommend doing it all together or separating the workings?

I would appreciate it if people didn’t judge me too harshly. I am fully aware that this is harsh and coercive, but I’m obviously open to criticism

I won’t judge you, but yes, stacking all of that on one person sounds excessive.

If you do not want your ex to come back desperate, broken, or crawling back, then do not use rites whose language and structure are explicitly designed to disturb, bind, compel, and obsess. Those currents are not “soft attraction” currents. They are coercive by nature.

Also, doing this on a full moon may amplify the work, but amplification is not always what you want. If your concern is “too much,” then more power is not necessarily better. Precision matters more than force.

Has anyone done massive work like this? Probably yes, people do stack workings, but many will tell you that love/obsession work can produce unintended consequences: obsession, backlash, fixation on your side, emotional chaos, or a result that technically manifests but feels wrong.

I really hope you take the correct option and be happy : )

If the workings don't push through any resistance keeping you apart, you might end up pushing them away.
Reconciliation workings might be a safer bet.

Way too much for one working! It'll confuse the energy, put way too many mixed emotions into the air, and probably not give you your result. I would pick one spell and repeat it over the course of several days & weeks. If you get no traction with that, then try another one.

I would also recommend starting with the Aphrodite one. Excessively compelling spells leave a weird, feeling like they got used vibe in the target's mind. It's fine if you don't care about the person or what they think, but that doesn't seem to be the situation here.

really appreciate the replies @ashlesha

After thinking about it, I’ll soften the Hecate rite and drop the philtrokatadesmos entirely. I’ll only keep the softened Hecate working, the Venus/Aphrodite working, and the candle work.

Unfortunately, I had originally planned to declaim the Hecate rite in Greek, but since I don’t feel confident translating a softened version back into Greek, I’ll just do the modified version in my own language. I imagine that also softens the operation a bit more.

Yes venus and aphrodite workings... And if you're into it then maybe a working with haniel or some other angel that you feel drawn to.
I'd stick with one working that you feel the most drawn to, if you want to go the extra mile then maybe make that elaborate.

I’ve never really worked with angels as such, but it would be interesting to start doing so. Thank you very much for your response.
