Straight out of Christianity

Hi everyone,

My name is Alyssa and I recently left the Christian faith so I'm new to magick. There are many reason why I decided to step away but I'm still a little nerve wrecked about my soul being damn to the lake of fire, which I know is years of programmed fear but I still need a little help with understanding and overcoming that fear please . I've done manifestation through visualization and it worked every time so I guess you can say that's what initiated my yearn for more. I've ALWAYS LOVED fantasy/magical/ shows and movies Harry Potter, Avengers, Justice league, Hellboy, Warcraft, charmed, supernatural, shadow hunters, The witcher you name it I love it. So its soooo exhilarating to know I can literally be my own superhero.

Welcome to the forum! The irony is that the Bible is a book of magicians doing magical things called "miracles" and foretelling future events, aka "prophesying" (though in some cases at least I'm pretty sure they faked the prophesies). The mistake of modern Christianity is the dogmatic insistence that scripture must always be interpreted literally (except in those cases where it suits the interpreter to say it was not literal). Also, the Lord God YHWH seemed to have an ego problem and often got into pissing matches with his rival deities, not to mention his questionable appetite for the foreskins of baby boys.

I do have 1 question , also thanks everyone for the warm welcome. The coming of christ? I've heard many people even outside of Christianity say that "Someone/Something" is coming and that we are in the final cycle. So is the coming of christ YHWH ? Orr?? Sorry for the ignorant question just trying to form a better understanding. Even pointing me to a few books if anyone can would be great.

Any book you would consider a good read about ancient civilizations, their myths and traditions where I can make the comparison to biblical stories, like in the temple of Edfu you will find the story of an immaculate conception and virgin birth that predates the story of Mary and Jesus by at least 4000 years. Also any books about understanding DNA And DNA altering would be amazing.

Well the trinity of course. The father son and holy spirit. Also the dates for the events. These fall in line with pagan or early religious events. Granted the Romans were trying to incorporate it into a pagan society and easy transition was the best for everyone. But everyone looking at christinanity as its own story, it took several stories before. Example. Adam and Eve, Noah's ark and Jonah and the whale were all tales before in the bible. They just transferred them to the Bible. I think many of them have some truths to the story from many generations earlier. Sorry I'll add more info when I'm not on mobile.

Hello there Love, I may be able to help you conquer your fear for the Lake of Fire.


First, there is no hell, otherwise, we would've been there from the start of our existence. Now, if you have fear of going to hell. Then, that's what you are going to see through your own Psyche. You have to let that go, by realizing that your Beautiful Soul does not suffer nor cease to exist. I can tell you from my experiences. I've seen my own version of the Underworld, through my Visions, and visualization skills. And, let me tell ya, it is awesome if you have no fear. The Underworld, is not a hell, and it is fantastic.

For example: I visualized myself going to the Four Elementals: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. However, I am going to share with you, just the Fire Elemental.

It was a Dark place, but it was peaceful at the same time. All of a sudden, I see this Woman made of Fire, and She was not burning at all She seemed happy. She took me to a Lake of Fire, and She told me to jump, and I did. I thought I was going to burn, but no I felt comfortable in that Lake of Fire, and nothing happened to me, and I felt no pain. However, the only thing that I felt was the hot summer warm but I was not sweating nor was I afraid. So you see, nothing can't happen to your Soul. So loose the fear. I know I did, and I Love every single experience I have with The Universe, and Her many forms.

I'm glad, you stepped out of Christianity, and I'm glad I did too. Otherwise, I wouldn't have told you this. Now, the question is, where will you begin?

Christianity did adopt many practices from other cultures...praying for our dead, purgatory, hell though they made it eternal, the Messiah, baptism which is Mikvah in Judaism

Glad to hear of your early successes! When you do your visualizations do you add elements of the fantasy series you love?

I found that doing so really boosted my ability to get into "The Zone" early on.
