So let me explain, it might sound silly but hear me out. the bathroom has two cabinets above the toilet like the kind with push to open latches. You push it in and it pops open. We have a bunch of these same cabinets around the house and only one other has a truly broken latch, which I tested. It doesnt behave like the cabinet im gonna be talking about. I make multiple trips to the bathroom at night and for months now i had this reccuring problem of having the lower cabinet being always open. I would close it and when i came back an hour later it was open again. i cant find any rational explanation for it since the latch seems perfectly fine. I am really so green when it comes to such subjects and i just wanna ask someone who actually has knowledge whether its just my cabinet being broken or something in there? If it helps to know ive been talking to it, the 'spirit' i mean, no reply besides the cabinet opening of course. For two days now it didnt happen and i sort of forgot about it but tonight, second trip to the bathroom, the first thing i notice is that for the first time ever the top cabinet is open instead and im sure as hell that an hour before it was closed just fine. Can someone well versed in this tell me if im just reading into it too deep? and if it might be something, how do i check if it truly is?

99.9% chance it's a broken cabinet. Bathrooms are humid, which warps wood and does this kind of thing.

I would start by looking at the hinges and making sure they're both tight and sell-secured into the side of the cabinet and door. Then just check if anything is loose anywhere or shifting, even attached to the wall or floor.

I would say if it not an anomaly of cabinet design, wear and tear, &etc., in the worst case you may have what's called a "Sulak". It's a type of demon known to ancient Babylonians and Jews that typically haunts the bathroom where it can strike a person while alone.
In the case of the Talmud, it is called "Sheid bet ha-Kisse", and can cause epilepsy in the victim's children if he does not take a long walk after using the head to rid himself of its presence before having sexual intercourse.
There is a lion type amulet that can be used against the Sulak, though I recall hearing that one Jewish solution was for a hole to be cut in the privy wall so a man's wife can place her hand though it an on his head while he is doing his business - suggesting the marital bond may be protection in itself.

Welp my approach is banish first, identify later lol. Following below is an excerpt from Draja Mickaharic's Magic Spells Of All Kinds. Honestly After you trap the spirit dispose of the trap at a crossroad, near a tree, or somewhere far from your home. For your own peace of mind, end it up with a cleanse of the house, floor washing the bathroom and areas around it, fumigation, etc.

(you can get a reading from someone ;) ) , but my honest non advertising advice is to do the spirit trap, cleanse the place, and then decide if it happens again. Don't read too much into it and if it's a big deal you will get to it when you get to it.

Making Astral Snares and Traps

When they are made with intent, astral snares and traps form an obstacle to any wandering astral body. They are discouraging to the human dead, as well as being discouraging to those who are projecting from their physical bodies. Such snares and traps also are also discouraging to non-physical entities, which often find them to be not worth passing through or otherwise dealing with. There are several kinds of these snares and traps, and in practice, they may be used interchangeably, as none of them seem to be particularly specific in their nature or action.

#1 - Put into a small jar, like a baby food jar, water, black ink, pins, needles, nails and broken glass. Write the name of the person you wish to snare on a piece of paper, if known and put it into the jar. As a general snare, write the word ‘everyman’ on the paper. Close the jar and place it upside down by the front door.

The bottle described above may be used to trap the projecting spirit, if it is known by name. This is done placing the bottle upside down on this marked paper.

In this case, once the spirit has been caught, the paper must be burned or torn to release the wandering spirit.

#2 - Write a random assortment of lines on a piece of paper, placing circles wherever the lines cross. It should not be a grid, as the lines should be both straight and curved. The paper may be placed near an entryway or under a small rug. It acts as a spirit trap, and confuses the wandering spirit.

#3 - Put into a small jar, like a baby food jar, some black ink along with a volatile liquid, such as ether, alcohol, or chloroform. The solution should be black. Seal the bottle and place it where you desire to keep spirits away. This makes spirits lose their way. It is also a necrotic; as it causes the spirits to lose energy trying to find their way out of the fog this bottle produces around them. The fog, and leaving it weakens the spirits. It may also be used with the written spirit trap above. Place it in the center of the spirit trap. Again, the paper must be destroyed to free the spirit once it has been caught.

#4 - A fishnet may be prepared as a spirit trap as well. Cleaning it, washing it, and praying over it will prepare the fish net for use as a spirit trap. It may then be placed under the front door rug, where it will trap spirits who attempt to enter the house.

(After everything you can check, maybe in the end it's just a a warped wood and cabinet)
