Familiar spirits and egregores

As in the title, I was wondering about people's experiences with both. Any information is appreciated.

You mean the religious egregores?

I have worked with egregores for quite a while. Christian (orthodox & catholic), Islam (sufi stuff), a bit with the Mormon subsystem. Some others.

For me the experience has been positive. The only bad effects came when I did too much mixing at once. Working with these egregores can be beneficial but it's definitely not for everyone. Some will go slightly crazy. If you look at the nearest religious institution then it won't take long to find really crazy people.

For benefits, you have to follow formulas, systems and in general work a lot with the energy. The best effects come if you do it actively. Active work teaches you to stay focused on something and also processing. You process both the energy and information (texts & prayers), both can become overwhelming. Overloads from excessive energy or the mind cannot handle reading so much of the same things. One can learn to get into meditative altered states.

There is a chance to unlock abilities over time. Active work will make you sensitive to energy work in general. You will be able to feel and sense more. This happens after you have "processed yourself". The main channel will be blasted clean and clear. There are many different scenarios. Some people might unlock A, others B or C. Maybe one will discover a great ability to do divination and information will come out of nowhere, after enough processing. Others could crack the champagne bottle open and unlock the ability to communicate with spirits. Excessive processing can work wonders, it's a "radical" solution which can either go well or cause severe spiritual issues. The stuff you unlock can permanently stay unlocked
