I'm pretty sure that goetic enns are a new innovation created by S Connolly in her demonolatry books. I don't think that magical practices necessarily need some sort of historical link to make them a valid practice, but I think that newer practices often have not had enough time to build up a strong egregore so I personally would not waste my time with them. They are just someone else's UPG (unverified personal gnosis). If they don't work for you, just try something else. For sigils, I think Gordon White's sigil making videos on Youtube are excellent and there's tons of other content about working with and activating sigils as well.

In the first instance I find it important to stabilize the sigil - this can take some time - but I find I doesn't really need enns, but I certainly see how they can be helpful and they provide a degree of the constant. Once stabilized, I'm looking for them to more closely replicate more usual vision i.e. weighty. At that point, I find I can progress.

Will try this today. Thank you for the suggestion

Its a newly invented concept. I'd be skeptical of it entirely
That a good point. Thank you

spirits love smell. You can offer them incense attributed to them in the hour and day attributed to them and try to call and sense them. Perhaps you may feel something.

You’re asking how to feel something but sensation isn’t the entry point … intention is.
Sigil grazing and enns are sensory scaffolding. They don’t do the work on their own. Without a defined intent, you’re essentially sitting in a waiting room with no appointment — there’s nothing for the practice to organize around, so of course nothing registers.

Try flipping the approach: pick one specific focus and define what you actually want from the session (not “to feel something” — an actual matter or question), prepare accordingly and open with clear intent. Sensation if it comes, is a byproduct of the work — not the work itself.

Let us know if anything shifts once you try that :)

This could be it. I never cared about my intention, will try to from now on. Thank you

how do you 'do; intention? is it fgocussing on the desired outcome intensely as if it is happening now, conjuring the emotions and thoughts linked with the working being successful? or does it also involve using energy and combining it with the imagery somehow to make it more intense? I heat about the use of energy but Im not sure how people do it. Bardon talks about soaking just about any kind of energy with the intention you are focussing on.... this is where I feel a bit out of my depth.
