[Opinion] Don't look up!

Whatever you do, don't look up into the night sky in your dreams.
I made that mistake once and saw them. The ever changing and always curious. The old and ancient things, hiding within the endless void.
Now, no matter how my dreams start, I can feel them. Looking..
Signs of them keep appearing, reminding me of them. Even the people within my dreams whisper around me, warning me not to look.
The ocean is no longer safe either. Once it contained beauty, filled with mermaids and treasures. But now, now it is silent.
I have seen them and now they wont leave me alone.
So don't look up, for your own sake, DON'T LOOK UP!


(Though written dramatically for the sake of telling how I feel about it, it is true. Dreams are dreams, but still, it creeps me out every time.)

Sorry about ignoring your advice, but I think it pertains to you, yourself .

Thats your mind . The surface of The Great Sea is your consciousness , the depths; your unconscious . For me , mermaids rose from the depths and transformed into shining angels of guidance . Something has shifted ....

There is even a patron ; Madonna Stella Maris - Star and Queen of the Sea and protector of all who sail upon her ;

I looked up ... and there she was !

I have seen them and now they wont leave me alone.

They are calling to you . Dont fear , they are aspects of yourself that need attention ... like pain will make you aware of something that needs attention .

So far there are 8 of them, I think. Each seems to rule their own domain. From fear, hate, pain and madness. To malice, lust, pride and that one I still don't know much about.

How do they look though?

They are big enough to cover the night sky. Their forms are merging and morphing into themself and are hard to look at. They each give off their own feeling when you look at them (hence the domain theory). They don't look human but rather like something from out of space, like blackholes or nebulas mix with webs of strings or flesh. Their eyes are endless and are always moving around.

So far there are 8 of them, I think. Each seems to rule their own domain. From fear, hate, pain and madness. To malice, lust, pride and that one I still don't know much about.

I've had certain inspirations about eight domains on the outer edge of the dream ("astral" as some call it) realm. I wouldn't think they'd manifest in such a horrid way, if this is indeed the same structure of eight that shows up on my maps.

It's kind of difficult to properly banish something like that, at least I don't know a method I'd trust that would have them simply "leave you alone" - though maybe someone else here will help you find a powerful enough ritual. There is probably some kind of use you can have out of them, though. For resolving those types of problems related to dreams and more generally the unconscious mind I had excellent results with Jung's method of active imagination. Give them faces, voices or ambassadors to speak for them - I like to play those interactions out like court politics, but the exact form is really up to you. It's your mind and you have a degree of power to at least make things that invade it play by your rules.

First that, you need to engage with us and focus on the engagement , answer questions and interact , instead of just posting 'wows' ... they can mean any thing ( from this side of the screen ) .

Good method .... you know a lot of western magic rituals and 'logistics' comes from legal court practices ( with a few 'battle tactics' thrown in ) .

Eg ; Evocation ; The word "evocation" comes from the Latin evocatio, meaning "a calling forth" or "summoning away". In the ancient Roman Republic, this was a formal religious and military ritual conducted by generals outside the walls of a besieged enemy town .
