the orange experiment is exactly for this. the idea is that you try to manifest a "half-peeled" orange somewhere in your life. half-peeled being defined as "skin broken, but still some skin attached". fully peeled and fully unpeeled are too easy to attribute to chance. just pick whatever process intrigues you, or feels like it may work for you, and work that process as though it is your most sincere desire to see a half-peeled orange and then wait for it to happen. when i did mine it was about a week later that i saw an orange that had been hit by a car along the side of the road, broken, squished and neither fully peeled nor fully unpeeled.

Depends on what type of magic is calling you. One of the fastest results I've had is with candle magic.
1. Pick your intention. I do a quick meditation for this.
2. Get a chime candle with a color that matches the intension.
For quick reference:
White = All purpose/Purity/New Beginnings
Black = Protection/Banishing/Spell Removal
Gold = Solar/God/Wealth
Silver = Lunar/Goddess/Intuition
Red = Strength/Courage/Passion
Orange = Creativity/Intelligence/Positivity
Yellow = Will Power/Clarity/Joy
Green = Luck/Money/Fertility
Blue = Physical Healing/Wisdom/Peace
Purple = Divination/Guidance/Psychic Power
Pink = Romance/Forgiveness/Self Love
Brown = Stability/Protection of Animals/Balance

3. Write out your intension on a piece of paper.
4. Anoint the candle with olive oil then roll in sea salt.
Place the paper under the candle holder and light the candle. I like to watch it burn as that give information as well. For now, don't worry about that. See how you feel afterwards and if your intention is manifest over the next week.

Frater Xavier has a sigil for manifesting something in your yard. Everyone I know who has tried it says it works. Thats a fun one to try. There are probably others like it online.

Start practicing qi gong right now and notice the rapid immediate improvement in your quality of life in all respects, mental, physical, social, and spiritual.

One example "spell" is called "reverse breathing", when combined with visualizing that you are consuming delicious food when you do it, and you can literally smell the delicious good food as you breath in. Then breath out relaxation, joy, light, life force, and peace into the world. Do this over and over every day, and within less than a week you will notice you are not as disturbed by things that troubled you before, you can handle stress much better, you rise with more energy in the morning, you can think better and aren't as impulsive, etc.

That's not how you usually start out in magic. You take up magic because you're already assuming that there's something to it. You find a method or ritual that resonates with you and then attempt to get it to work, and if you fail, you try and try again until you you succeed, or give up and change tack, do some research, read a lot, experiment, etc. Magic requires curiosity and effort - how else will you keep going after the first few operations are washouts? Performing a one-off operation and expecting fireworks to ensue is a bit much to ask. You might have beginner's luck but don't count on it.

You can leave out the 'barbarous (= unintelligible) words' until you know the English text by heart but then must absolutely include them because that's where the real power is. Since you asked for an 'easy spell for a beginner' and probably expected a few lines that'll at least give you goosebumps, you could extract the barbarous words and declaim them aloud with full force and conviction. It may get a little spooky, and some members would call this procedure reckless, but it's still better than inviting random spirits into your head for a block party so that they can make off with the valuables.

These rituals aren't result-oriented so if it's about getting laid and paid as the technical jargon goes, chaos sigil magic is pretty easy but even here, some effort and practice will be required since it's so DIY. Roll your own & have fun!

I was going to suggest sigil magic as the previous poster. I would say it it relatively simple, althought I have yet to find results using it. No sigils of mine have worked, at least until now.

In regard to what @raptordog mentioned, sigils are mentioned within just a strictly chaos magical paradigm that can make it sometime somewhat flat and doesn't have as much punch. I would definitely look into adding rosary and even the headless rite below, when you do the full headless rite and the four kings' offering you can also request respectfully to charge your sigil(s) as a bonus to road opening or to give your road opening some oomph.

Also to give a new suggestion and something personal, for me what restarted my path again from Hiatus around 2020-2021 was the dream incubation technique from Stavish's Between the Gate method which included visualizing the elemental and planetary glyphs on the nape of the neck for a week each in ascending order from earth till Saturn over 11 weeks. Arbatel and Psalms are definitely a big player for me in term of spirit contact, but an essential thing would be to also have an ancestral veneration practice in order if not daily then at least weekly.

1. The only real requirements is a piece of paper or parchment on which to write the words of power:

Following is my log from doing it on 21st August 2026:

Hour of Venus, Day of Venus. Felt the cleansing was perfect for this. In the end I did use Rose oil, the Venus invocation from Denning & Phillips and Psalm 23.

Honestly the overall feeling was intensified doing it with my hubby it felt amazing, "fluffy and insulated, warm-from-the-dryer sensation" is definitely a spot on description, it feels amazing and clean vibe. I would was gonna do an egg cleanse with my hubby but I forgot...now I am asking my hubby if we should do the egg cleanse...we both feel it is redundant. I am definitely feeling pretty good and relaxed, like there's a layer of blessing surrounding me not pressing hard on me and any negativity washed away/went away.

Energetic Sovereignty, Definitely the Venus energy all you to grow into that energetic-spiritual field, is it a center? is this how am I supposed to feel 24/7 without feeling bombarded from everyone and everywhere! I think so, I feel tuned up and light for sure.

Is it possible to do this with a different fruit? (I have Histamine Intolerance and can't eat them, neither can my husband, so the chances of a halpf peeled one in my surroundings goes against zero)

Yes I came here just to say that, my first very very beginner step into magick was with new avatar power and chaos sigils, I'd say they can be a good starting point but obviously, the more efforts you put into something the better the results

the fruit isn't important. in fact, as a discordian i might personally prefer the symbolism of an apple. being said, part of the reason we pick a particular fruit (even if which fruit we pick isn't relevant) is to help create a success condition that's balanced between so easy that it can be explained by chance and so difficult that it can only happen if your magic is particularly strong, so it may well be the case that not keeping oranges in the house is what makes them the ideal fruit for this challenge rather than hamstringing it. i don't usually keep them in the house and when I ran the experiment the one i found wasn't in the house, it was along the road on my way to work.

Welp the headless/bornless rite is about exorcism but it also a self-elevation/theurgy in a way because you can't exorcise someone without being in a position of power yourself. Gordon's addition of four kings offering and orientation with Orion changes the vibe of the ritual to be that of a road opener and an uncrossing of a sort, it is honestly a very useful way to get yourself out of your own way and allow change to come toward you, From the book itself he mentioned the following:

The Headless Rite deals with spirits and the spirit world. These concepts are for all intents and purposes universal. You do not need to swap out any of your gods or festivals to work it. You could take yourself off to mass or a sabbat or Diwali immediately afterwards.

Perform once and then see what happens over the ensuing couple of days. Then perform several more times, randomly and/or as needed. The rite may trigger initiation, but it is not an initiation rite. Like an old friend, you can return to it whenever you feel like it.

What Happens Next?

Good question. One thing I will say with every confidence is that your dreams will certainly get a lot more interesting. Beyond that it will really depend on the conditions of reality around you. Expect the most unbelievably remote coincidences to begin manifesting. Also expect that any attempt to explain how amazing these coincidences are will fall on deaf or unsympathetic ears. This is always the case with magic, as even when the preferred outcome manifests in the physical world, so much of its significance is inside your head.

In my own life, following on from regular, albeit sporadic practice of this exact rite, family-owned houses have sold for over a million dollars on the other side of the earth immediately after performing Four Kings offerings here in London. I have had—and turned down—job offers from out of the blue without even an interview, from the world’s most desirable company. (Yes, that one.) The sensation is difficult to describe; it is almost as if you have dropped a depth charge into the ocean of the spirit world. Some things get cleared away, some things get shaken loose and some things come swimming.

One of the most persistent fallacies of wealth magic (or “probability enhancement magic,” as I prefer) is that the witch or sorcerer will work backwards from a successful result in her life and decide whatever combination of colour, scent, and godform does that thing. As such, I cannot promise you specific miracles as a result of this practice. All I can promise is that the stack of mostly positive, highly improbable events will one day get so heavy that all other explanations for how they happen collapse under the weight of their own mathematics. Then you can declare yourself invincible.

In fact, the question of how one becomes “truly” initiated in magic is perhaps the one I am asked more than any other. My answer is always the same.

Frater .717 explains that magical forgetting does not mean never thinking about the operation again, but simply leaving it alone instead of constantly checking whether it has worked. And Frater U.D. notes that keeping the sigil present can work for some people and that difficult goals may require repetition.

That is how I understand it too: charge the sigil, consider the operation finished, stop constantly questioning it and continue doing whatever is practically necessary. The desire itself does not have to disappear. Otherwise, sigil magic would be useless for almost anything we genuinely care about. Completely forgetting it could even be counterproductive in my opinion. Our thoughts shape our reality and that still applies here.

You also don´t have to cum every time you want to charge a sigil. Reddit somehow turned one optional technique into a sacred law of chaos magic. Sexual gnosis is only one option. You can also use meditation, breathwork, dancing, drumming, chanting, intense emotions, physical exhaustion, prolonged staring or repetition of a mantra. The point is to enter gnosis and plant the sigil in the subconscious, not ejaculating on a piece of paper.
