In This Thread We List Our Online Sources For Occult/Fringe Science Information (Old Books, Government Agency Research Docs, Etc)

I believe I've exhausted my own sources, I think I've found more than what I need for what I'm currently researching, but who knows, I'm probably missing something.

I've found two sites that are new to me where I did the bulk of my recent downloading, and it was by sheer luck that I found them. It really made me think about how many sources of information that I'm not aware of, and that one key piece of information I need may just be out there waiting, and someone else here may be aware of that source.

So this thread is just me sharing my sources and hoping that I'll get some new ones in return to add to my list.

Please list any FREE sources that you know of that I didn't list below

For finding old occult books, scans of really old grimoires, military research documents redacted/approved for release, etc

If its a "deep web" link and you don't want to post it publicly please PM me

Books

- I'm sure most people know about this one, its the best site for finding most books, especially old books, just sort by year after a general search and you'll be surprised by the age of the books that are available, I've seen as far back as the 1800's for a year of publishing (depends on what you are searching for)

If I'm looking for a book (especially an old one) its the first site I search, and the book is usually there

You can find a lot of research documents from governmental agencies too (obviously those "approved for release" as stated in the documents)

2.
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
- If I can't find a download from the site above, I'll check here next, I usually don't have to go to site #3. There is one downside, you can only make up to 5 downloads on your I.P. address every 24 hours (if you have a VPN then no worries)

One thing I was able to download here that wasn't on libgen.rs was one of those "Academic Press" scientific research documents. So its good for finding more modern stuff that is usually behind a "pay wall"

The following book sites are the next that I check in numerical order as the previous one fails

- I put this one last because everybody and their grandma knows about this site and it barely ever has what you're looking for, makes me wonder if they are really archiving much of anything lol. Most books you find on libgen.rs won't be found here.

Themed Collections (Occult, Fringe Science, Etc) - Books|Docs|Audio|Videos|Etc
1.

- You can find a lot of torrents for fringe science or occult content, usually sorted in large themed collections. A lot of the downloads are also listed on the site below too, in fact the site below is much better.

- Now this site was one of the new great finds (for me, some of you are probably aware of it). Things are grouped into folders, there's terabytes upon terabytes of downloads available, large and varying occult sections sorted by category and a lot more.

You can download files one by one manually but that's kind of annoying, if you want to download from the site more efficiently you need to download and install "wget".

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

You'll notice that at the bottom of each folder's page (on the-eye.eu) you'll see a link and a copy button, you have to copy that link and add a "download parameter" to it to download from the site. It took me like 20 mins or so to download the software and figure out how to access the software and then get a download to start.

To save you the trouble here's what you do (assuming you use Windows):
1. Download wget from here:
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
Then install to the default location
2. The install location should be here: C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32
The exe file you need to access using command prompt (cmd) is here: C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32\bin (copy this and paste it in a text document after "cd")
So you are saving this string of text in a text document - "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32\bin"
cd = change directory, its part of the command you have to use to navigate to the exe file directory in command prompt (it'll all make sense later)
3. Run command prompt as admin, then copy the command from the text document (the one you just saved) and go back to command prompt and right click it (this will automatically paste the command)
After that press enter, and command prompt will change its directory from the default one = C:\WINDOWS\system32
4. Go to the collection/folder you want to download all the files from on the-eye.eu and copy the link at the bottom of the page (there is a copy button next to each link)
Then paste the link into a new text document (you need to add something to the link in order for the download to even start - well that was my case)
5. Add "--no-check-certificate" as one of the "download parameters" else it won't work (add it after "wget" and before "-m")
Example:
Original Link: wget -m -np -c -U "eye02" -w 2 -R "index.html*" "
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
"
Modified Link: wget --no-check-certificate -m -np -c -U "eye02" -w 2 -R "index.html*" "
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
"
6. Copy the modified link and go back to command prompt (which is currently in the "bin" folder of the wget install location)
Then right click command prompt to paste the modified command, now press enter
Command prompt will now start using the wget software to download the entire collection (all the folders, subfolders and files listed on the page you copied the link from)
The downloads will be stored in the bin folder within a folder named "the-eye.eu"
You can probably download from other sites that list wget links like this, but this is the only site I've seen like this, I found it a few days ago

Enjoy, hopefully this helps eliminate many hours of google searching, having these sources have definitely saved me a lot of time

WARNING
Some of these collections are huge, like massive, hundreds of gigs in size, don't willy nilly just start a download of an entire directory. You may wake up the next day to find you have no storage space and the software stopped downloading due to an error

Great share, some cool new sites on there that I'm not familiar with. I'm a huge fan of z-lib and libgen, been using them for years.

Thanks

I looked through the forum and the-eye.eu was already mentioned in a thread, so its kind of funny that I randomly found it somewhere else

Though I'm sure a lot of people don't know how to download from the site so my guide on that is still useful

If you know of any other sites like it let me know

Yeh, the-eye.eu was a new one for me. Will definitely check it out.

<- this is a site I've been trying to gain access to for a very long time. Unfortunately it's very difficult to get an invite. But it's the largest collection of occult-related torrents in the world.

I just wanted to say, though, HOLY SHIT THANK YOU!!!!

One one of those sites you listed that I didn't know about before, I was FINALLY able to find a book that I've been searching for, for almost a year now. Seemed to be rarer than hen's teeth, but finally found me a copy. Super excited now, Skull if you're reading this then this thread ought to be pinned or something.

Yeah I stumbled upon that site too, was so pissed when I saw the whole invite thing, makes you think they are like the God Hand or something (from the berserk manga) 😂

Well two websites are definitely dead
sacred-texts.org is probably now sacredtexts.com (sadly you can't download, all the texts are usable as web pages, no ebook downlods)
magicgate.com is dead completely, I can't find an alternative site for it (as I did with sacred-texts)
ona.org probably closed down years ago as the website is now the "Ontario Nurses Association"

Maybe it's preaching to the choir, but I still find Scribd.com a useful resource to find things. It is not what it used to be but still I sometimes find books and articles that I don't find anywhere else. You don't necessarilly need an account; just use a scribd downloader such as scrfull.com :)

Thanks, there are a few sites mentioned I wasn't aware of.

These youtube channels are definitely worth checking out ...

(quite academic, but covers topics about things like Qabala, Merkavah, Grimoires, etc.),
  • Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
(lots about angels, demons, remote viewing, there's one about Abramelin, the Emerald tablet ...), and

Also, now I've mentioned Abramelin, the film '
