I’ve been practicing witchcraft since 16 but I’ve fallen off of the craft in recent years, I’m 23. Im now getting back into it (bc of my guides rlly and I’m very intuitive). A reading recently told me I need to start looking more into necromancy and try different types of divination.

Greetings. What kinds of divination do you do already? Early on I was struck by how the ones I do never dissent from each other appreciably.

I began with tarot cards and that has been my main source for divination however I do have a pendulum that I've used before and some dowsing rods that I haven't used before. I am not quite sure why I didn't feel open enough to go outside of tarot but I am currently interested in water scrying and charm casting.

Welcome to the forum.

Tarot has been my main method for a while too but just recently I began studying the I Ching ‘3 Coins’ method and I really like it.

I’m also playing around with learning a couple of Dice methods by Lon Milo Duquette and Jake Stratton Kent respectively.

If you get a chance maybe take a look at the I Ching though because it can be kind of mind blowing and just a completely different type of divination.

interesting, i may look into that a little more in the future. i got to be careful because sometimes i will overwhelm myself with everything i want to learn.
Yes: the books threads here can be like a too-big buffet.

That's something I like about the I Ching: it manages to be so spot on, though in tactful tones. One fancies its authors/transmitters probably conversed the same way.
