There are two genders - male and female. Various thoughts, feelings and medical operations don't turn one into another. Very rarely some people get born androgynous, but I doubt that it is your case. Even if it was, if such person can produce semen then he would be considered male, otherwise female. Your gender is connected with your genitals. There is very little "genderization" in Magic unless we speak about some very modern "inventions", and if there is any, it has to do with what kind of genitals you have (or had - in case you allowed some medics to mutilate them). Perhaps you need to look more into classics to see that Magic is above all that "feminine/masculine energies" stuff. Now, I guess, I might get dislikes for what I wrote, but it becomes ridiculous to see where all this New Age stuff is going to.
Male and female are both ideas, they're a preset of appropriate tastes designated on a person based on the features of their body, they aren't actually real. A human being can have an X or a Y chromosome (Or a Z in Xeno's case), but in the end the human body is just a meat-vehicle for the soul, a person's shape and specifics - such as gender - only define the soulless and immature.
Chaos magic has a lot to do with switching out beliefs or ideas depending on what works and whats useful. There are some situations where being a male is more advantageous, others where being a female is.
Masculine & Feminine energies have nothing to do with men and women, they are as inhuman as the positive and negative ends of a magnet, yin & Yang, the womb and the creative force.
Your gender-fluidity is a good step, however the ladder of Initiation may transform you further beyond the shackles of categorization.

I'm nonbinary genderfluid. I have a few books on queerness gender identity and magick. These ideas are not new age. There have been many cultures throughout history that have had multiple genders. Often those outside those norms of man and woman were feared and occasionally considered spiritual leaders. I've incorporate my own gender identity into my craft and spiritual beliefs. I consider being trans or gender fluid as a gift from the gods. Your experiences are unique and you are able to help in ways others can't.

This, and I want to add, you don't have to be transgender or genderqueer in any way to actually harness feminine or masculine energies within you to do the work you need to do.

Gender, like the language that anyone here uses to describe it, is a societal construct. the way we relate to our bodies through our ego or subconcious mind, how we are socialized to relate to gender, and indeed how many genders there are, whats roles in a society are associated with what "gender" (if thats even a real thing) all of these things are just social constructs, with no real meaning beyond sexual attraction and mating. and sexual attraction is clearly fluid across species (and beyond lol)
and if you take even a moments notice at fucking reality, you will see quite clearly that most, dare i say all, ways that we relate to what "is" and ":isnt" pink gender or truck gender are very clearly an affect of how we value different bodies for different resource/labour value extraction purposes.

with that being said, i do like to be aware of systems of control and exploitation in any sphere, and there is definitely an agenda exploiting both queer identities and bodies to further all sorts of politcal agendas. classic witch wound stuff manifesting in the world. i noticed how active Hecate has been, the thin veil, pluto in aquarius and all that stuff.... there seems to be battle,.... a battle of the binary if you will, one side the old ways, old beliefs and systems roles and rules, in opposition with the energies that want the freedom and liberation and truth and the show is about to start, south park satan vs jesus style.... but EVEN MORE real than that! mind blown
its clear from a macrocosmic societal level downward we have lost our understand and connection with the primordial feminine, and that is where so much of our worlds problems come from, is the active powers that be seeking to basically hold a pendulum as it swings downwards but that pendulum is evolution of conciousness itself

Yeah it is confusing. It's like how some pagans believe in multiple gods some that are shapeshifters but gods forbid they look at history and see plenty of deities that accepted multiple genders with open arms.
I can have both genders inside myself, and my soul can flip from female to male and from male to female. It's more of an empathic gift than anything.
For relationships: Inside the relationship it might go so that in one moment you are the male and then in another moment you are the female. Even if you are inside a male or female body. The +/- attribute flips according to both subconscious needs of that time.
I actually do, and just posted one. I'll refer you to that as well as to the fact that the Great Work itself produces the Divine Hermaphrodite.

There is absolutely no room for debate here. The Androgyny is the Summum Bonum of The Great Work. The SHE and HE are the ultimate Revelation of Liber 418.
If you wish to isolate yourself in a Tower of The Black Order, then so be it according to Thy Will. But do not promote your Hate and Venom as Truth.
Not to mention the traditional "gender roles" associated with spirit workers/shamans/medicine people etc - many cultures hold gender nonconforming people in high regard, considrering them holy even and conduits or psychopomps to the gods.

Nothing special there. I think that soul has no gender and due to it's experience and history it might have more inclination towards one, the other or both at once... or even neither. Doesn't matter...
Unless you do something that requires specific masculine or feminine energy, it has no meaning or value whatsoever. If you want to attract someone, then charging yourself with opposite gender energies might do a lot. In that case having both makes one neutral and unattractive, I think.

First of all, the direction of your thinking is interesting. I am curious how aware you are of your masculine and feminine sides in an energetic and psychological sense? Can you be feminine or masculine at will? If you are able to manipulate your gender flawlessly, then you will notice the subtleties in magical work. But hey, this is just my thinking out loud. However, I am only an armchair magician.
