Which angel or demon did you choose when you first practiced your calling?

So, I'm planning my next summoning, but I don't know who to call, and I need some advice

Freya, and the Shem angels in Damon Brands books. I was drawn to them very strongly. Both were unmitigated catastrophes, that I am still recovering from. In retrospect I wish I had been drawn to meditation, energy work, inner healing, reprogramming, basic grounding/centering/shielding practices. Entities come to you when you are seriously developing yourself. At least that's been my experience.

Honestly, working with spirits isn't really all that useful once you develop your connection with your higher self. I mean once you internalize that all the spirits you could call are part of yourself-as-god/all (your higher self/HGA), calling spirits is not really all that different from just creating fire-and-forget thoughtforms/servitors to do what you need, but at that point you can just choose your words and speak your will manifest.

The trick is to realize that anything you consider to be done via external power beyond yourself is really just your own power expressed externally via your higher self. Unfortunately this does have a way of making magic boring, but at the end of the day the point of magic isn't about novelty so much as borrowing the presence of yourself-as-god/all before you die and return to The All.

Thanks for your advice, I did try to summon my HGA. It's just that it's my nga, and it has told me that now is not a good time to engage with the HGA.

I mean, when I tried to summon my HGA , he didn't show up. Instead, my NGA (Natal Guardian Daimon) appeared and told me that I would have to wait another year before I would be eligible to see him (HGA) in person.

Well, after months working with Damon Brands books, as well as NAP, I was getting experiences but not results, and mostly just felt even worse. So I bought a reading from a witch/reiki healer, who found Shem angels living in between the layers of my energy body, draining my lifeforce, magick, luck, etc. I'm still not sure if I would call this vampirism, possession, or both. Anyway, she "exorcized" and banished them, and gave me some reiki cleansing techniques. Even that was not the end of it. Years later, while doing a guided meditation on a magick course, I found several energy cords attached to my chest leading to several Shem angels. The goddess involved in the exercise burned them off. Suffice to say, we aren't friendly these days.
I get the impression that with most/all of the popular "commercialized" entities, there's a lot of crap going on behind the scenes, and what they are doing here is not what's advertised. Like a "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help you!", kind of thing.

(Because I think the angels' powers should all come from the glory of God, who is everywhere, so their power should be constant. They don't draw their energy from the living like the souls of the dead do.)

3. Why do angels help humans for free?
(In China, we are generally taught that “no pie will fall from the sky” and when we seek help from local Chinese spirits, we are usually asked to offer something in return. But in the previous summoning cases I saw, many people were summoning the planetary angels for help. They did not offer payment, but those requests were answered. I am very puzzled by this, is this a result of different customs.)

I can share my experiences and gnosis if you want. One persons experience can not be considered conclusive, but is not irrelevant either. And if you think that experience is bad and scary, wait until you've actively practiced the occult for several years, you'll see waaaaaaaaay worse than that. I certainly have


1.Your idea of angels is accurate, for some angels. There are many types of angels. Some do serve the Source, as you say. Some are associated with particular abrahamic religions. Some are none of these things, they live in what you might call tribes and are out for themselves. Some i've met are here from other realms and looking to find a home on earth, like setting up a colony. Some are spontaneous thoughtforms/egregores formed from humans thoughts and emotions about angels. Some are non angelic beings taking an angelic form because people will accept them better. Some may even be predatory servitors/egregores created by unscrupulous occult authors.



2. Entities that are popular/commercialized have a lot of potential for those unscrupulous occult authors. For example, if I were inclined, I could right now create a servitor that looked like an angel, and would come when called by that angels name. I could have that servitor give them warm fuzzy feelings and tell them everything was going to be ok, while attaching vampiric connections to them, and draining their energy into a wealth spell for myself. Not a lot of energy, just a bit less than what they might notice. The magick would take a few minutes. With a few more minutes, I could program the servitor to recognize the people with the best natural manifestation potential, and have it coach them into manifesting their requests themselves. Now i have an “angel who brings results”, for a few people at least. That would be the one to put in a book. Human attention and emotion are like steroids for egregores, by the time my "angel" had interacted with a couple hundred people, its magickal abilities might be nearly as good as an original Shem angel.

A lot is possible with magick, and a lot of what is possible can be made to appear different than what is actually going on. If there's a way to scam people with magick, someone's already doing it, and probably always has been.


3. Angels that legitimately help people for free do so because it is their purpose to do so. Like a faithful guard dog barking at a suspicious noise in the middle of the night, it's the most natural thing in the world, and not burdensome at all. An Islamic angel once said to me, there was no need to try and solve problems myself, and only call them as a last resort. They were glad to help, its what they do.

Can I ask what you mean by returning to the all if you have spare time? I was kind of hoping my soul would be conscious and free once I die to travel the universes and different planes, so what if I dont want to? I never truly believed in a creator or source of everything that exists in all the possible planes of existence.

After your experiences do you still recommend working with shem angels? They seem to be the most helpful/have a variety of skills and gifts..Maybe the olympic spirits may be better to work with or creating your own servitor.

My advice, if wanna start in the JCI mythology, 1st contact your HGA, contact your spirits who walk with you, amp up your shields and wards and then move on to demons. In my experience, all demons won't attack you at the very instant they are summoned, but there are a few who will not like you, lie to your face, and rip you. So better be safe than sorry

This past situation was brought to my attention just recently, and I've been looking into the matter again. It seems I may have been mislead by this woman, and the Shem angels may have done nothing wrong at all. I need to do more digging and confirm things before I can say anything one way or the other.
