What is better for communicating with spirits: a Ouija board or an alphabetical circle with a needle

Good time, everyone. 🙃 Happy to be here. I am still a newbie , but I want to know if those of you who are practicing spiritualism, do you use a Ouija board? I use a drawn circle with the alphabet and numbers, in the center of which I put a needle on a thread and communicate with the spirits, but the Ouija board with a pointer I do not work, a couple of times the pointer barely moved, and it took me a lot of strength. Is it even worth it to keep using the Ouija board? I work alone.

I personally don't and TBH I don't know any legitimate occultist that uses an ouija board in any serious way. They may use it to make content or experiment with it every now and then but most occultists are aware that there are far more effective and efficient methods to contact spirits. The ouija board is the equivalent of writing a letter vs getting on facetime or even sending a voice message. It's T9 texting vs swipe texting. Both work, but one is much more time consuming and that's both for sending and receiving messages.

You know what you can do? Use yourself as a Pendulum. For example: just ask Yes or No questions. Ask your Soul to reveal to you what you need to know. And, your Soul will respond with a sense of Energy, or through images. If you feel the Energy, that means Yes, but if you feel nothing. That means no. I know because I do it all the time. But meditate first. You can do it lying down or in a comfortable chair. I hope it works for you. If nothing happens. Don't get discouraged. Practice and be consistent. Best wishes!

I work with my Holy Guardian Angel and do this predominantly through automatic writing. However, he (if he can be considered something other than an extremely deep layer of my own unconscious that I perceive as a separate being) has also referred to divination tools as "abstract interlanguages" and has heavily implied that he is the source behind my divination readings (i.e. Tarot, I Ching). I also agree with The God-King; I don't know any serious occultists that use Ouija boards. For what it's worth, all of the stories I've ever heard of Ouija boards end up with some kind of very low-vibration entity being attracted. One of the best examples of spirit contact (and which inspired the automatic writing technique I use to speak to my HGA) is Conversations with God.

I've used the Ouija board here and there in the past, and I did get a message from my deceased grandfather that I wasn't expecting to get the last time I used it. It was a total surprise when he said his name. At least I think it was him! He said, "Ed xxxxx" (his last name) tell you a story. Do you believe, Kxxxx? (my first name). I said yes, but not right at that moment. That was the last time I used the board, about 3 years ago. I found that using the board was time consuming, and I didn't want to spend a whole lot of time with it. So I stopped using it. Using it by myself, I found the planchette moving only if I was very relaxed in my upper back muscles. Also to lightly touch your fingers on the planchette, and let it gently move around wherever it wants to go. Take your time. You can lightly get it moving at first, then let it go do it's own thing. That's my most recent experience with the Ouija board, anyway.

This is very interesting and I am open minded (I believe the dead may visit us in dreams), but how can you be sure it's your grandfather and not another entity posing as him?

To see if it actually was my grandfather, I would have asked him a question that only he could answer correctly. But even then, it would be hard to believe whatever was told on the board. People will believe what they want to believe, I find myself saying a lot. I only know the message that was given to me at the time, and I was not expecting my grandfather to answer. My older brother and mother had both passed shortly before that Ouija board session (my older brother was two months before). I was hoping to get a message from him, or my mother. My mother's funeral was the day after that Ouija board message, and my grandfather had been her father.
