My spirits have guided me to read some commentaries and analysis of the Quran lately, and it's a very occult text - likely a bigger heavy hitter than the Bible. But I am NOT down with their fake prophet, who was a pedophile & who hated women, or the history of woman-hating attitudes in Islam. I also think the version of Allah that Muhammad contacted is likely a demiurge of some kind; the real Allah may have a more gnostic or otherwise Pagan-friendly face.
Almost all Sufi occultists rely on basic dogma to cast their spells, but it's dogma that I don't want (e.g. "no God but this demiurge, and this pedophile is his prophet"). But the underlying magical tech is powerful. Is there a woman-friendly version of Islamic magic?
Or has someone taken apart the tech, examined it, and repurposed it in a woman-friendly/pagan-friendly paradigm?
