Here is another of my usual type of posts in here
Like half question half conversation with you all in here...

How knowledge can affects your soul?
Your very essence , consciousness what ever its called...
Things you understand...
Wisdom you gain,
Or even your daily thoughts...
How it can change or affect your soul mission or even next lifes or your future will your understanding or Any type of experiences be permanent to your soul?

I ask that because i felt in some point of my life that i learned and understand things in life using the backward way or as i find out is called the sinister way..
But my goal was reaching and expanding reality and kinda like this phrase :
Finding god in dark places...

Whats your ideas thoughts on this topic?

I will be thankful by your answers as always...

In the Kabbalah and in ancient Egypt there are 5 souls in the human. The lower souls certainly learn from human experience - e.g. learn to walk and speak and count

The higher souls are developed through higher experiences - accruing higher plane substance and using it to develop sense organs that operate at those levels

Karma is an on-going issue, not only from families/groups, but also because the very substance from which the light body is formed contains planetary karmic influences

How knowledge can affects your soul?

It just so happens that John Michael Greer gave an answer for that in his blog post this week:
You can also simply study the art of magic without attempting it into practice; as our text suggests, beyond the enjoyments of satisfied curiosity, this knowledge has practical benefits: it protects against the paired stupidities of unthinking belief and unthinking disbelief. Many follies in human society are driven by one of these, and even more are driven by both acting in conjunction.

The blog post and discussion center around chapter 11 of The Doctrine of High Magic by Eliphas Levi. I have the translation by Greer and Mikituk, but there's always the old translation called Transcendental Magic by A. E. Waite which can be acquired for free. Either way, I do recommend reading the full post here:

According to Levi, the astral light has a profound impact on everyone, regardless of knowledge or lack thereof. This "world soul" interacts with our own in ways we may not understand, unless we are made more aware of the influences, subtle and not so subtle. Once aware, we have at least more informed choices in matters of belief and action. Otherwise, to quote Levi:
Every enthusiasm propagated in society due to a series of communications and predetermined practices produces a magnetic current that is also conserved or augmented by that current. The effect of the current is to enchant and often overly stimulate impressionable and weak persons, excitable constitutions, and temperaments disposed to hysteria or hallucinations. These persons soon become powerful vehicles for magical power and strongly project the astral light in the same direction as the current; ...

Learning is infinite for the Soul. As said by a guy name William Buhlman. We take what we've learned here and take it with us when we go to the other side.
Hello Konsciencia,
Would our memories we gain in this human life be retained in the next realm?

And more of a whimsical question... will I be able to travel to Jupiter? I want to see it's moons.

That is very common but not necessarily as mental memories.

When young I was concerned about being in small spaces. Eventually I understood that I did not like waking in a coffin and scratching the underside of the lid. Apparently I did not die as easily as my relatives thought.

Wow, that's incredible. As I learn about souls I wonder about where mine came from. And what its name is. And what it wants to feel and learn. I want to get to know it. My awareness of karma and virtues and the contrasts physical life offers to a soul that searches for completeness- has deepened. I hope to give to my soul what it wants. What it needs to be whole. I'm listening. I need to go deeper. Learn all I can.

Look up what Kabbalah has to say on the soul

The Soul wants to be close to its source

Which is God

Lately I have been reading Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson (All and Everything) by G. I. Gurdjieff, and I haven't gotten far enough into the book, having only read 128 pages out of the total 1135 pages of the particular version that I found, to make a proper judgement call into the teachings contained therein. Perhaps the only noticeable effect so far has been a change, perhaps only temporary, in my writing style to use more words in more complicated sentences, but I digress... o_O

The introduction of a review of the book on Goodreads said,
"Gurdjieff went against the grain of common Western thinking.

He didn't believe individual human beings have a soul...

Instead, he thinks we must GROW a soul. And that process is in and by itself excruciatingly painful."

, if you have the time to do so.

The idea that somehow we aren't automatically gifted something so precious as a soul ... one might imagine how awfully that people would treat one another if they believed that many if not most of their fellow humans had no soul, as it were. And I would nod and say that this is just another day on Earth. Perhaps if they were instead told that earning a soul was their purpose for being here instead of earning a lot of wealth that they would have to leave behind anyway upon their inevitable departure, then things might be different. One can imagine. Either way, knowledge in and of itself can only take you to the Starting Line of the race and hand you a map of the intended course. It is still up to you to make your way along that course until you finish. Life is all about the experience.

Mostly I'm on a long hiatus from God(s). The concept doesn't make sense to me. Since I left Christianity, I've experienced many benefits and have gotten to know myself much better. So, I suppose that throws a wrench in the works for some systems. Who knows, maybe I'm part of a different system.

What an interesting concept. I could see that. Come to think of it, I've had a wild go of life so far. Lots of pain. But lots of joy too.
It would be very interesting to see what this world would be like if it was common knowledge that one must grow a soul. And that virtue and experience mattered.
Life is about the experience, isn't it!
I'm beginning to think I do know my soul better than I think I do. I have to give over to that confidence more.

Roma,
Have you ever communicated with the dead, their souls, about your death?

Of the 5 souls, the soul identified by Christianity is the central soul (Neschama). The soul body needs to be fed light on the 3 highest subplanes of the mental.

As the substance is accumulated and developed into usable structures (by human effort) the solar/guardian angel has something it can work with.

And if the emotional and physical bodies and souls (intelligences) have been sufficiently refined, the solar angel can operate through the human personality
