Most physical illnesses, impairments, and mental health issues come from our bodies being subjected to endure the harshness of the physical world and our own biology working against us. I would never tell a disabled or chronically ill person that the reason why they're being afflicted with pain is because they're "too dark" and they need to become a "pure soul". That's nonsensical and cruel.

I also happen to cry over heartbreak, love animals, think kind people are beautiful, adore people who show mercy, work to restrain my anger, show grace, kindness, and compassion, and hate it when people feel pain or suffer. It bothers me. This "darkness". It's simply not at a thing in the universe. OK, the Void, sure. Been there. But that's just raw potential. Not a place of Supreme Evil. The real evil, we make it. When we go off balance and become the Wolf, the Pig, or the Serpent for too long we have to come back. Re-center in the normal world of fuzzy kittens, wishing one's neighbor well, ice-cream, taxes, and damn good cups of coffee.

This is Lon as the Cunning Man. In terms of como-conception I am somewhere in the middle between Lon and the 100% animist magician Wilson . To me the whole argument is silly because it's limited and assumes there is only one operative level of reality. In my view,the daimons come through our upper level "Briatic" minds first before they enter into astral-etheric bodies in the sublunar, animistic worlds. Ritual is how we give them bodies.

And the spirits will reflect 50% of our personal bullshit. And yeah, Lon is right. You get your own personal manifestations. If you are an asshole they will be one too. For me it goes even further than only dark and light, and dark in light. I personally tend to see things in a very fractal way. Reality can be seen in tiny nuanced fractals, so you get basically fifty shades of gray. And if I choose one fractal as a lens, it is not definite. It is really possible and perfecty fine to see the same thing the one day through another fractal than the other day. That can be a light fuzzy cozy reality in the morning and a more dark way of seeing things in the afternoon. Most times that is a good thing, other times you get caught in the nuances. And that is the moment you need play the, what I call, angel or devil game. See the situation through only the love/light lens or pretend you are the devil in the situation. So a complete flip of reality.

I use that game quite often: watching the same situation through the eyes of an angel, the devil, the gnome, the princess, the witch, the wise woman, the toddler, the hero, hence even the loser. And if it is not enough I write down the same story a few times seen from all those archetypes. It is workflow that is great. It is a way of working I learned over time from Paimon. Confronting? Yeah, sure! But I don't like to be limited in my thinking, I want to break free. I guess that's why he gave me this method.

What is very eye-opening (and in that sense very positive…) is the many reactions that are so-called; not positive!

Well, one thing is true about witches, they do have long toes and it easy to trip over them. I don not apologize for my long toes and ugly nails, but in the beginning of the discussion they were definitely present ... How could I forget to address the mention that demons are cause of sickness or mental disability? Good that you pointed it out, because that is serious stuff and in some cases, refusing to get sick person tot he doctor can be death sentence.

In fact here real evil lies in refusing the truth that is right in front of your eyes and not helping person by bringing them to the doc, while doing some light/energy work instead... or prayers like Christians do over some sick. Reminds me of those nuts who stopped giving young child her insuline and insisted on praying over her instead and ignored all that was going on, they kept praying even when she was already dead. If someone told me that they were serving evil or demons, it would be hard to deny because there the evil was quite visible for everyone else to see... And the kid died...

This is very limiting definition of darkness. I would dare to say that it is Christian or New Agey. Darkness can bring benefit. There are things that belong in the darkness and its secrcy. Evend arkness is healing, even through death aspect, that releases from the old that no longer serve.

When we occultists refer to anything under the context of light / darkness... it's definitely a little more nuanced than this, my friend. Also unfortunately this youtube video has nothing to do with science, metaphysics or not.

You can absolutely be somebody who works with ghosts or demons ( LHP) and still be an objectively kind, good hearted person, changing the world for the better.

Shadow work is understood. For your information. Shadow work is focused at EGO-trained behavior, which can be up to 100 % caused by the dark side. Your spirit has other lessons it wants to learn, of which basically none are inside the work the dark side works on, again, your daily activated EGO. That is where the dark side gives us all the hardship.

In your case, you are a very bright light, as almost here in this forum. As you very likely know, the darkness, in all its forms and shapes, will attack you wherever and whenever they can. Also, through complete mis-information, which you are using here. And please do not see it as an attack on you, this is the way darkness operates.

We can tell you that you have negative energies with you right now, which you might not like to hear (that someone else can measure you from a distance. This ss the misconception. The darkness causes these. Heavily ill people and people suffering from mental illness ALWAYS have darkness with them. That darkness causes their signs of "illness" and "mental disorders". Take these negative energies away, and see what happens. Ill people will be able to use the energy that they used to fight the darkness for their healing, and will heal. And people suffering from MD suddenly are "cured". These people will need help dealing with their new reality, and that is what we also do. But the true darkness has to go before they will be freed of all the negative things in their heads.

When we occultists refer to anything under the context of light / darkness... it's definitely a little more nuanced than this, my friend. Also unfortunately this youtube video has nothing to do with science, metaphysics or not.

You can absolutely be somebody who works with ghosts or demons ( LHP) and still be an objectively kind, good hearted person, changing the world for the better.

I'm tempted to call this bullshit. Feels quite brainwashed, very little if not zero knowledge of the spiritual world.

Guiding the dead into the light can be a trap. I've heard that this light can be coming from soul eaters that eat souls and then glow thanks to the life they ate. Don't know, I've heard both, that you should go to the light as well as you should keep yourself away at all costs. Since Astral realms are symbolic and confusing, you will not know for sure unless you know yourself and astral well enough to tell.

Don't know if the tale of the boy is true, feels to me as the original tale might had been true, but this is retelling that is altered to serve your point. Every retelling is alternation. So since you don't seem to be knowledgeable on the stuff, your example don't seem to have any real value.

You're entitled to your opinion.... and it looks like we're going to have to agree to disagree.

Shifting focus on your generous offer of removing the darkness off me for a 9 day trial, you see I'm kinda in the middle of this big hellish crusade at work. I'm currently under contract with the dark forces...and unfortunately my job doesn't give me PDO ( paid darkness off ) , so I'm going to have to decline, but thank you for your consideration.

Pretty simplistic, but due to some lore angels and demons are the same race, and are sometimes pretty hard to distinguish. Goetic Evocation, Enochian Keys- the physical manifestation of either entities are equally terrifying to the much smaller, puny, soft fleshed magician. You probably wouldn't really know what you're actually looking at if you were fortunate enough to invoke a physical form with a successful ritual. There's angels like Abbadon, Azrael, and Samael who destroy under God's Commands. And then there's Goetia like Paimon the art teacher, Marbas the doctor and Astaroth the Liberal Science Professor. Angels won't punish you for seeking out assistance from a Goetia either. This does further elaborate on the widely held belief that lightness/darkness is indeed subjective.
