2027 Total Solar Eclipse over Luxor, Egypt

I'm surprised there hasn't been much talk about this upcoming event by any occultic circles I frequent in ! Next year, August 20th 2027 will be our LONGEST total solar eclipse in the 21st century ( 6 minutes and 30 seconds) with a path of totality passing over Luxor Egypt !!! It just so happens this eclipse will be in the midst

I'm surprised there hasn't been much talk about this upcoming event by any occultic circles I frequent in ! Next year, on August 17th 2027 there will be a full moon eclipse in Aquarius that lasts over 3 hours ! And literally 3 days after that will be THEE longest total solar eclipse in our century that spans over north africa for over 6 minutes. With the best view being right over Luxor Egypt as it passes over all the pyramids and temples in LEO. This total solar eclipse is giving me major Goddess Sekhmet returning to the material plane vibes and initiates a major cosmic shift. I envision this night be one of the realest physical manifestations of an ancient deity appearing before our eyes that we may be blessed enough to bear witness to next year. I am both excited and terrified. I would be curious to know anyone's thoughts !

Thanks for bringing this event up. More than a year ahead... maybe too early for me, I'll surely forget about it ten times over till it happens. Still, I'm glad that I know. Astrologically this could be very fascinating and energy of eclipse above pyramids will be awesome to see. I wonder how many thousands of tourists will flood Egypt to witness it. Will be crazy for sure.

Would love to see full eclipse myself, though I would surely be in danger of blinding myself by staring at it in wrong moment... I'll pass. However wondering about its energy and connection with ancient goddess is attractive topic. I do not think that it is whatsoever connected with Vampires, though.

Seems like a major change at some level with Death (perhaps the end of a cycle) + Wheel of Fortune.
Queen of Wands: Perhaps an incarnation of Sekhmet in our world, beyond the current incarnations. This may just be more Sekhmet energy in the world.
But Sekhmet is the incarnation of bloodlust, devastation, war, but also medicine and Pharaonic protection.
Death + Wheel could mean that the energy can be turned to whatever purpose a Magus (the Pharaoh) wills.

From the outermost interpretation of the 13 card yes no spread the response would be No. The strict give interpretation is No.
But with me, a major arcana card can be yes but just two major arcana cards aren't yes. At best this would be maybe but probably not for the outermost interpretation.

If you’re not doing anything especially intense, then you don’t really need the potent energy associate with these events. Many practitioners focus more on the phases of the moon instead of waiting a year and a half for a solar eclipse to do their work, so it may not end up being the talk of the town. Or at least not until about a month before it happens.

I’ve seen about six or seven solar eclipses so far. What’s funny is that when I saw them, I was nowhere near the start of my spiritual journey. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and didn’t even realize what was going on. People would talk about it the day before and the day of, then hand me those paper looking eclipse glasses and basically motion for everyone to go outside and look. And I just followed the herd.

Are you planning to travel to Egypt to witness it? If someone’s never seen a solar eclipse before, it’s absolutely worth it, especially if it’s happening relatively close to where you are, so the trip doesn’t cost a fortune for what’s ultimately just a few minutes of viewing. Also, are you thinking of doing any kind of ritual that day?

my indigenous beliefs ward me away from witnessing a solar eclipse with my mortal eyes but the topic is fascinating !!!!

When I did divination regarding this solar event, what I interpreted is that this eclipse is definitely of high significance for the egyptian military specifically and possible destruction of intuitions that don't submit to Sekhmet. She's coming in HOT !! 2026-2027 is heavy themes of death/rebirth, fall of certain institutions and revivals of others. I wouldn't say this is a negative manifestation either however. I think this is an incredible astrological event we all have to look forward too !! Could this eclipse also mean the revival of Egypt's primal ancient power after being solar charged by Sekhmet herself ? If the egyptian priests lock in... then it's entirely possible we'll be around to bare witness to a true egyptian renaissance blessed by the Goddess herself

me personally ? I would absolutely love to go visit the temples while Sekhmet makes her grand arrival and soak in that divine lioness energy. I don't think I have the heart to stare directly at her because she genuinely terrifies me, but being at the temples myself with my coven sisters is in the works hopefully ! We were contemplating doing a traditional protection spell/ offering and sparing ourselves from her wrath for the rest of the century if possible !
