not one thing to believe all the way, as i almost don't believe it myself. let's just like explore what could have happened.
I woke up this morning with some numbness in my left hand that was not going away, and I found this a kind of worrying. I have a kind of fear of doctors and hospitals and emergency rooms, so I decided to attempt to turn my throat chakra into a medicine
I know that there was a time on this Earth when the meanings of the sounds we make with our mouths that we now call "words" did not so tightly bind us to physical form and time. I know this because the languages of those ancient times appear very much to work in almost a fundamentally different way than our modern English. Sanskrit and Chinese, both more ancient languages, play with tone in ways that I'm not certain that Westerners are culturally enabled to understand. Many magics use mantras and chant a kind of "poem" that plays with tone in ways.
So I decided to do it on this walk and see if I could get the numbness to "go away". And I did. It felt a little like navigating a vector field and trying to get a lot of the vectors to point in a particular direction. The little tonal "poems" were like suggestive maps for the rest of the field to follow. There was no "forcing", and it was more like a song than an equation.
Afterwards, there were sorts of phantom "echoes" of the numbness, but I could tell that they were not as real as the original symptom. For a while I felt various "side effects" that took the form of "energetic impulses" that I felt I had to sort of "shake out".
