Abramelin operation?

Hello, I'm preparing to start my Abramelin ritual. Do you have any advice on how to adapt it to this day and age? Do I really need to start it in the ester? Anything particular I need to pay attention to before and during the practice?

No one is going to 'kill' you for asking questions everyone starts somewhere, and it’s completely normal to feel a bit apprehensive about something as intense as the Abramelin operation. It is a massive undertaking that requires serious discipline and preparation, regardless of what century we are in. As for adapting it to modern times, I think the key lies in understanding the core intent of the ritual, rather than just blindly following every archaic rule. Before starting the ritual, I would highly recommend looking at the Mithras Liturgy, does that do what you are looking to achieve.
If Abramelin it is, then I would insist on a little side exploration into Jung and his thought on it. His insight in invaluable.
I have a book coming out in August, that explores the ladder ascent methodologies and how to recognise the pitfalls the pratitioner is likely to have to naviagate. I don't want to put anyone off, but prepation is key, I built a ritual planner with all the steps, requirements, time committments all neatly planned out. LIke a follow me diary. That really helped with the discipline and committment needed.
