Adding a "Divination" section & More.

Hello! I really like your forum. I have some recommendations I would like you to consider. First; currently, "Divination" is sharing space with White magic and Right hand path for some reason, but it should have its own section. By doing that, we can have astrology, tarot, necromancy and other mantics arts in just one place. Also, is it possible to create a multilingual section where people could speak their native language comfortably. We should not dismiss what other people has to say just because they don't express themselves fluently in english, or invite them to remain hidden. Thanks! BTW, English is not my native language. Let me know if you need a clarification.

I love that you love the idea. A multilingual section where every post is responded in the preferred lenguage would be a nice addition to the forum. Since some posters are recommended right away to use a translator when they write their introduction in other lenguage other than English, then they should apply themselves using the same translator when modding. Also, we need that "Divination" section ASAP because people want to talk about Tarot, Astrology, Necromancy, numerology, palm reading and etc. And, if there some space left, we should have a ghost stories section. I hope I'm not demanding too much.

Because barely 5 out of 20 of the latest threads in that section are about divination.

I can consider it when the section is getting enough posts about divination. When there’s enough discussion about divination that it’s taking away attention from the other topics.

As you may notice, every occult section shares its space with multiple topics grouped together. If every topic got its own section there would be way too many sections with much less activity which would be hard to navigate.

No. If I allow one additional language, I’ll have to allow many others too. Then, there would need to be many other moderators who can speak those languages moderating those sections. I will have to verify those moderators ability to speak the language well. I will have to ensure that those moderators also speak English well enough to communicate with me.

In the future, I will allow members to purchase their own private sections of the forum that they can set the topic for, moderate themselves, and add members to. These will not be visible to the public, and will be expensive. In such a private user group forum, one could set the language they like. However this is not a priority right now.

Both of these suggestions increase the fragmentation of the site, and the language one reduces governability as well. Neither are worth the downsides right now (and for the foreseeable future).

Additonally, foreign-language subsections would make it more difficult to find information when using the forum search function. In addition to the English one, you'd have to look up the relevant non-English term, and then the dictionary or AI will give you different five options, and wouldn't know the right one appropriate for the given context (try 'spirit', for example). Or you'd have to browse foreign-language subsections and will have no clue as to which threads may be of interest to you unless you take the time to have each and every heading translated.
