Advice on the PGM

Anyone here work the Greek magical papyri? It’s something I want to start on. If anyone has any tips for areas where I would need to adapt things (due to accessibility), or general advice surrounding this I would greatly appreciate it. Though I want to stay as close to the original ritual as possible I’m aware some things just don’t exist anymore and I’m curious about good replacements.

Also is there anything I should know about sensation or experience wise that’s unusual? I feel things in my body a lot and sometimes things catch me off guard. (Many years ago lesser key of Solomon was a bit of a nasty shock for example )

Read Techniques of Greco-Egyptian Magic by Skinner. I also recommend Allison Chickosky's book on the Solar Consecration for All Things.

Hans Dieter Betz version is probably the most scholarly if you are trying to stay as true to course as possible. This is assuming of course that you need a translation.
